Cons: MSN Direct service is ending Jan. 01, 2012. No other options available for a Traffic report service.

Cons: does not have lifetime traffic although receiver is included. 265wt does.
Pros: Price. The receiver picks up the satellite signal faster than my previous model (which was stolen) Comment:
Most likely would purchase one that included lifetime traffic but a lot of people dont need that service. Clear display. Syncs with my mobile phone for bluetooth after ontario passed the law about using cell phones. |

Cons: MSN direct will be going off-line in 2002
Pros: Price , bought it on sale.Many features included with product.Customizable ; You can even record your own voice into device. MSN direct , with reciever .Blue tooth for hands free use with cel phone.Easy to use menu .Touch screen works well & is nice size. Great support at Garmon web site.Easy to follow instructions.Rechargable battery.Mounting kit is functional & easy to use.High sensitivity Reciever for fast responce/tracking. Comment:
I moved my daughter to Ottawa last summer and had a chance to use a GPS navigator for the first time, I was hooked.chose to buy this one as it had all the features I wanted. Got it on great sale price.Used it last weekend to get around Winnipeg and test out MSN Direct . Did'nt take much getting used to it at all. I used my free map upgrade and downloaded some neet stuff on the Garmon web site easily. Garmon automaticly found updates and installed to device . This product is very easy to use, very intuitive. You can use it to avoid traffic issues, change settings on the fly and if you miss a turn it simply recalcs route to get you back on track and very fast at that. Voice promps alert you well in advance and remind you as you approach turns. The touch screan is a nice size & easy to read. I felt totaly secure in usiing it, I already can't imagine traveling with out it. I even got traffic reports and weather advisory from MSN Direct, as a storm hit Winnipeg while we were there. Product did every thing as advertized , would purchase again! |
Bought this to replace my other Garmin that was stolen. I still have not received it but want to inform new buyers. The MSN Direct service is ending as of Jan. 01, 2012. You can find this on there website so if you are looking at buying this model or have already, and MSN Direct was one of the features, you may want to consider a different model or brand. Of course they don't advertise this, such as last St.Patty's sale with a great price on this model. Buyer beware
