Good product. All features worked as advertised. Garmin software program has improved as well. Speed limit indicator does show the speed limit for most big roads (see cons for Lane Help comment). Lane Assist does not work in all states and does not show when you are viewing the list of upcoming turns. It only displays when you are in the map view.

Slim, fantastic searching, sturdy, quickly to acquire sats, uncomplicated to read screen. Garmin update and garage really simple to use. City view is good. A small pricey for the characteristics.

This unit has each and every function I have a require for. Text to speech telling you street names audibly is a new function to me, and I really like it. I also like the lane help and targeted traffic alerts. It can also maintain track of the fuel you use (which you enter when you obtain gas), and inform you the cost of just about every trip. If these points get considerably better, they'll start driving our cars for us. No Bluetooth or MP3. I don't count this as a con, since I wouldn't use either, but I consider most folks would see it as a con. The driving directions can be wrong at instances, it has attempted to send me down pedestrian-only streets on many occasions. I bought this unit in Germany due to the fact I Needed a navigation technique ideal away, and I'm not certain if it would do the identical factor in the US. Displays existing speed. Excellent job on lane help. Lane assists shows you what is going on a lot better than the voice prompts. For example, if there is a left exit and then ramp on left, voice will tell you ramp on appropriate (so you steer clear of exit) which is confusing. The thought and implementation of Lane assist is great.Can display additional trip info on the major screen. This unit has two major screen layouts. 1 is traditional and one is "More Information" which consists of some more numbers about your trip.Lightweight.Has Garmin offices pre-loaded in your favorites. Screen feels a bit cheap. If you are wearing polarized sunglasses when driving, you could have screen view dimmed a bit. Just tilt your head to the left for great view.Energy wire is too thick, and just doesn’t follow the automobile profile, will keep the packaging bends for a though.Windshield mount feels like it has suffered from some price saving efforts. The wire goes straight to the unit, not to the mount, which means that to remove it (or put it back) is a two step procedure - get rid of unit from mount and disconnect the cable. So whenever your unit is not mounted, the cable will be just laying around the automobile. This also doesn’t assist cable to mold its shape to the surface profile.
