Bought this one to replace my old Magellan 1700 which is absolutely a nightmare. People say always stick to Garmin that really makes lots of sense. Sturdy built-all metal body and glass multi-touch surface. Though refurb but cannot tell any difference to a new one. A little pricey but on sale frequently so grab one when you can. Definitely worth every penny. |

Beware GPS was shipped with a broken car windshield mount. Getting it replaced has been a nightmare with a different story every time. I think I received a unit that was a broken return to NCIX since it was covered with fingerprints. GPS works as you would expect fr Garmin. Guess my years of buying from NCIX ARE OVER! Will purchase a new mount from GPS CITY so I can use the GPS in my car. |

I bought the gps when it was on sale and got it in 2 business days. Even though it was a refurb, it looked and worked brand new. The touch screen is excellent and feels like a tablet or iphone. So far its working and the first thing I did was register the unit on garmin in order to get 1 free map update. If your looking for a bargain price gps with basic but yet enhance features the garmin 3790 is one to get. |
bought this to use on my motorcycle when going around town as im not very used to the streets around me and let me tell you, this product is just amazing, it fits perfectly above my dash and it is really helping me get from a to b efficiently, has everything that I wanted except bluetooth :( however all i have to do is look at it now and then and the sound is still good enough to hear it when at low speed.Overall this is a very good gps, it came in pristine condition one couldn't even tell if it was actually refurbished unless they looked at the box itself that states it as such. I would highly recommend this purchase if you are in need of a good gps
