Exceptional good quality, lifetime warranty, one particular of the prime reputation firms in the business. One of the shorter cards if length is an concern. Costly but not out of line with the efficiency it offers in nowadays's industry. Stormbow isn't understanding some thing, and his comments about Globe of Warcraft not becoming demanding on video cards is why I say that. I refer to an post in Tomshardware particularly about Cataclysm and hardware for reference. Pre-Cataclysm he may well have had a point, but post-Cata he is dead incorrect. If his wife's pc isn't employing the card to its complete capacity, then the CPU or one thing else in her computer is bottlenecking its overall performance. As far as noise, no a single else I've ever read has complained like he did so I want to recommend the challenge is that he has a bad fan in that distinct card or his setup isn't as good at cooling as he thinks it is. It takes much more than slapping in a lot of fans to cool a personal computer suitable.I also want to suggest it's unrealistic to price a item 1Ǜ stars if you get a DOA. If you do and the business doesn't take care of you, or you get another DOA, then by all suggests, but we all know any product you acquire can be DOA so what's the point?

Bought to replace my GTX 480(sold)... Runs cooler and quieter. I run a 30" monitor 2560x1600 and notice 1-3 fps depending on game and for a more affordable price point than the GTX 480. I really like that it comes with Display Port out. Card is smaller sized than the GTX 480 as effectively. Less memory than gtx 480, I think the additional memory would aid this card perform far better than the other guys at similar prices.. I ordered with the two game deal Mafia two and Just lead to 2 and did not receive this. Did not remove star since this is a NEWEGG problem and not EVGA... make this a 2gb card... I mean really for the value...AMD Phenom II 1090t16gb ramAsus 980a sliAntec Kuhler H20Antec DF-85Corsair 1000 watt (overkill, but under no circumstances know if I want to Sli or Dedicate physicsဢ" dell 3008 All games at max settings in no way gets over 70c. Great performance/price point for a high functionality DX-11 card. Plays all existing games maxed out of course. Short adequate to match in most cases with no troubles. EVGA's lifetime warranty on the "-AR" model cards. A 4500 rpm fan?? Seriously? They must've utilised a larger decrease rpm fan for this card. Through gaming the card warms up to about 85C and the fan cranks to -4500- rpm. If you don't wear a comprehensive headset through gaming the noise will drive you crazy. It sounds like a dentist drill in your case. It's quiet when you're not gaming. But this is a gaming card. What had been they thinking? I may an aftermarket cooler on it, like the Zalman 3000 or anything. A larger swept blade design fan would've been a a lot far better solution to the noise issue. I don't even believe the hamster wheel fans are this loud at full tilt. EVGA's warranty is nice but not really worth the noise this card puts out. Appear at the Gigabyte card with the three larger fans on it rather.

Wonderful Card for gaming on a single monitor I've had 2 of these now the first a single the 2nd DVI port read only as a VGA tho the card had no VGA so the tech team at EVGA told me to take it back and I did so. Upon replacement I am nevertheless possessing difficulty with the dual monitors 1 refuses to perform on a consistent basis... I place back in one particular of my 9600gts and they each work completely.. EVGA Tech help was baffled had me reinstall drivers about 20 instances and still no progress I will be taking this one particular back!

I'm at the moment playing RIFT - Planes of Telara and bought this card to replace my weak 9500 GT. My framerate jumped from 6 FPS on Ultra settings to 55-60. That alone created this card a wonderful acquire. Right after playing for about an hour, this card heats up and starts sounding like a person is under my laptop desk blow-drying their hair. It's that loud. I've got 3 120mm fans and 1 140mm fan inside my case, and the combination of these four fans doesn't even compete with the noise level of the GTX 570.To say it's as loud as a jet preparing for take off is not also far of an exaggeration, in my encounter. If you're going to purchase this card, contemplate an further fan / slot to hold the factor cool. As soon as it gets warmed up, it's take off time.It ought to also be noted that I got this card for my wife's pc also, and given that she doesn't get into something additional graphic intensive than Globe of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings On the web, and Facebook games, her card has not (yet) produced this a lot noise.

none so far Card Was DOA trying to rma and get a new 1 spent 2 hours on the telephone with EVGA tech, at least they were great about it, can't say anything bad about them. Also negative card didn't work, guess my luck on components has run out, this is the 1st item I've ever gotten DOA.

Fantastic gaming card for the price tag. Originally purchased a PNY GTX 580, which crashed my machine on gaming graphics. Returned and got this card. Looks like I'm going to be an EVGA buyer for now on. Card works wonderful and registration gives you access to some good monitoring and clocking utilities. Thanks EVGA for creating such a good product! None. Get this card or one of the newer EVGA cards!

Excellent card. Value is fantastic for these of us that can't afford the best of the line gtx 580. Graphics appear incredible even much more so compared to my old evga 9800 gtx ssc. So far no troubles in game. Might get a 2nd one in the future but i see that newegg is now outta stock on these or 2 far more given that i have a three x sli motherboard. None so far, although I did have an issue with Win7 64bit updating the method rating. Not confident why, in no way had an situation with that just before. I did unload the video drivers and did a clean install but for what ever cause my pc shuts off with the new card when it hits the Areo dx10 test. I loved my old evga 9800 gtx and so far besides the weird win7 issue i encounter like this new 1 as effectively. I purchased the card to play Rift on higher settings so that I could give my wife the evga 9800 gtx card I had. Just before i had my sittings on high but now i have them on custom ultra and haven't had any troubles, the game looks incredible

was uncomplicated to install. dropped ideal in. I have been attempting to get this card to operate for 2 days now. I have installed different drivers posted amongst the webs, and the card does not want to function. I installed the nVidia sample demos and they crash after a couple of seconds. I installed 3dmark11 and that crashes quickly. My card does not work. Temperature is not going high (haven't seen it go a lot more than 50 some thing), in all probability simply because it only goes under a load for a second or two before stopping. This is a new rig setup and I have every little thing else operating fine. The power provide is corsair tx650 w power provide and has enough amps for this card. I haven't contacted evga yet but I am going to see if they will send me a new a single. I truly believed this was the correct decision, but somehow I the a single I occurred to get was a lemon.

I bought this card as an upgrade for my 9800GT. It is definitely awesome. Value/performance ratio is very sturdy as nicely. I play BF:BC2 and with all the eye candy cranked up @ 1900x1080 wǞxAA; I'm getting an typical of 85fps! This is also a excellent upgrade mainly because I'm in a position to use my 9800GT for games that support PhysX too! (However few that may well be..)Came with a VGA to DVI adapter, and two 6 pin power converters in case your PSU does not have them.NewEgg shipping dominates! Placed the order thursday afternoon (paid for normal 3 day shipping By way of UPS) and it arrived the subsequent day! Card did not come in an anti-static bag to protect it. Excellent efficiency, doesn't run loudly, only 9.five" (way shorter than my GTX 275), plays all my games at max settings with no problem. BFBC2, Black Ops, Just Trigger 2, Mafia 2, SC2, etc. all run wonderful, appear terrific, and are buttery smooth. I run dual monitors, two LG E2350V's. When I initially boot up or boot up from a restart my primary monitor flickers black just about every couple of seconds. Oddly enough following running BFBC2 it stops performing this. I have read Nvidia 5 series cards have an concern with dual monitors. I would have rated 4 stars mainly because of this but considering that it's not truly an EVGA issue, but an Nvidia problem, I didn't see any reason to punish EVGA. Hope to see a fix for this soon, nonetheless... Other than the flickering concern, this card is great. I didn't see any cause to spend 赨 more for the GTX580, seeing as according to present high-finish game benchmarks the GTX580 only outperforms this card by about 7-ten FPS.This card does not at all run noticeably loud above my other fans in my case, and I ought to also point out that my case is incredibly quiet as is.Rig:Windows 7 ProfessionalCooler Master HAF 922Asus P7P55D-E ProIntel Core i5-760 Lynnfield8GB G.SKILL DDR3 PC3 10600EVGA GTX 570 SC > LG LED E2350V (x2)X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty80GB Intel X25-M SSD룄GB VelociRaptor릌GB WD Caviar BlueCorsair 750HXGenuinely content to finally be in a position to play a BF game at max settings with out a hitch.Mafia two and Specially Just Trigger 2, which came totally free when I purchased this card, both show off the card nicely and are actually fairly enjoyable games.I bought the SC edition merely since it was only ~ฤ far more and I like realizing I have a slightly far better card.Extremely advised.

Awesome card for your funds, the 580s are just slightly much better but not worth the price to me. I love that this is already overclocked so I do not have to do it, especially because ntune doesn't perform with windows 7 and I dont want to brick my gpu. Effortlessly fit this into my computer and it isnt as lengthy as some other video cards. My only question of evga is why did you put the power cables on the really finish of the card? The instruction manual shows them on the fan side, but they had been not there on my card. I had it installed and did not see the power inputs and with them going on the finish it was a real pain to get it back into my board and get the power connectors plugged in. Debated deducting an egg for this, but the board is wonderful adequate and this isn't as massive a deal if you know exactly where to look for them. I LOVE THIS VIDEO CARD!Ever games I play can play at maximum quality on a 1080p screen with 60 fps. The only game I cannot activate absolutely everything, is Batman Arkham city (which I got free with the video card). This game need SLI to active DirectX11 feature and keeping the 60 gps (on 1080p).I recommand this product and I might buy another one for the SLI !

Card died on me when I was installing driver update  upon receiving it. However, NCIX RMA was super fast and haven't had any problems since. You can overclock yourself but there is a lifetime warranty on this card. That alone is worth the extra $20-30. Plan on getting another in the future for sli (maybe for 3d or when BF3 comes out).
