Cons: Noisy as expected with fan speed over 70% well for me.had to replace to the tim to get ideal temps.Loves the Juice.

Pros: Cost about $200+ tax with $20 gift cardLooks coolPerforms very wellOverclocks Well also.
Comment:
Great card for the price, $200 + tax and gift card, great deal. Had to replace the thermal paste to get good temps. I let the card idle with 54% fan speed dual monitors between 52-56c with single monitor about 45c.. Load temps overclocked 72% fan speed 1.1v 865 core 2200 memory in BF3 temps are 74c give or take couple C. With ac on temps drop  5c +..Great card for the money..

Cons: none yet. ( i don't consider the fact it takes 2 slots since anyone with common sense would notice it after looking at the pictures.

Pros: got it for 200$ instead of the regular price ( 333$ at this time ) so it's a steal.you can't hear the fan until you're making it run to 60% and is 50C idleit's a gtx 480
Comment:
run good and you can't hear it until you change the fan speed to 60%. i don't consider user reviews to give more details because you can look up benchmarks to know what's the performance this card gives.

Cons: Runs hot with stock cooler

Pros: Excellent price/performance
Comment:
I purchased this card as part of a life extension project for a 3 year old system. I wanted a card that would let me enjoy modern games like Skyrim at 1920x1080 resolution without spending a lot of money. This card, purchased on sale for $209 plus $3.99 shipping, fit the bill. I already had a well ventilated chassis (Antec 902) and a suitable power supply (Corsair 550w) and I'm prepared to purchase an aftermarket cooler but haven't yet found the noise level objectionable. The value proposition for this card will change once Nvidia releases the gtx660 - that should push the gtx570 down close to the $200 price point - leaving very little room for the gtx480. My recommendation: this card should be compared to the gtx570 and 660 (when it ships). It's a good deal if and only if the price is substantially discounted from the others. The newer cards are faster and cooler but, at the right price, this is an excellent choice.

Cons: Noisy card.Very big card. Make sure you have room in your case.

Pros: Best performance for the money!
Comment:
For the money, this is literally the best bang for your bucks. Make sure you have a minimum of a 550w power supply and lots of room in your case because this is a long card. The fan is on the noisy side for my liquid cooled machine that is normally extremely quiet. I immediately noticed the noise, but it may not be as apparent for you. With all that said, you can beat the power for the price.

Cons: - hella HOT.

Pros: - EVGA reliability- Powerful GPU, great value for the current price of $199.- Can run almost anything, anyway you want.
Comment:
Overall, great GPU. I'm sure you could do amazing things with one or two in SLI, but you would have to mind the temperatures w/ stock cooling. If this was a two months ago, I would be recommending this to everyone (over the Radeon 7xxx and even GTX 5XX series), but now that the GTX 6XX series from NVIDIA has released with some reaaalllyy amazing technology... This becomes, decent.

Cons: Loudest card I've ever had with fans going at 60% or higher.

Pros: Looks good, performs great, EVGA precision tweaking tool works well.
Comment:
38-42 degrees idle. Around 80 degrees on full load. I play BF3 on Medium Settings and cap my frames at 50 FPS using EVGA precision. This keeps the card around 60 degrees and fan at 65%ish. Can run BF3 on ULTRA at 50 FPS but card runs hot at 80 degrees and fan at 90%ish.This card is awesome. I would buy again in a heart beat. Just wish it was a little quieter and consumed a little less power.

Cons: Huge power consumption

Pros: Powerful card
Comment:
Good video card for gaming. Noise is much lower than I expected. Temperature is approximate 40 °C when it's idle. Maximum temp goes 81 °C during gaming. Alternate video card cooling is preferable if high temperature is not tolerable.

Cons: Hot

Pros: Cheaper than gtx570 but actually faster than it when overclockedMore ram than gtx570
Comment:
Really, this is the best bang for the buck you can get for this kind of performance. True, it is hot, but it's not that bad. Power consumption is big, but the different between this and 570 or equivalent ATI is a few bucks or so, and it's not like you game it all day. Good buy if you can get it for cheap.

Pros: Fast, EVGA, Price (lately)
Comment:
I had a couple of these from a long time back, plus bought another 2-3 lately for around $225. About as fast as a GTX 570, but they do run a little bit hotter, so make sure you have some decent airflow in your case - especially if you plan on running more than one in SLI.

Cons: The card runs pretty hot.

Pros: Excellent value.Great Performance.
Comment:
Right now this is an excellent card for if you are looking for a good value. I chose the GTX480 over the GTX 560 Ti because of the free shipping and the fact you do not have to deal with rebates to get at the same price point. The performance so far has been excellent and the card runs a lot quieter than some reviews would leave you to believe. If I had a larger power supply, I would consider ordering a second to run in SLI at this price. The free shipping only took two business days.

Cons: Gets really hot unless you have msi afterburner. slightly louder then most cards, but who cares just look at it, its got damn heat pipes burrowing out the side.

Pros: Amazing price for the power. make sure you run msi afterburner though and have fans on auto.
Comment:
Great card, i have 2 of them in sli, and plays battlefield 3 at 100fps+ and metro 2033 at 50-80 fps. amazing card.

Cons: Noisy, and hot

Pros: Still really powerful
Comment:
with Antec P280 case, runing 3DMark 2011 in SLI the card can easily reach 102c (ambient is around 25c).Solution: just by 2 Antec Spot cool ($14.99 each) set it to high and blow toward each of the card fan. (100% load is 80c ish now)Using MSI afterburner you can also modify the fan behaviour as temp gradually build up. (for temp control or for noise control)However, its still noisy.

Cons: Overheats quite easily in a Antec Eleven.Very Noisy, Fan kicks in to 100%

Pros: Great Performance If You Can Keep It Cooled...
Comment:
Had 2 overheat over 105 and automatically shutoff. I figured first one was just a defect, but 2cards with driver errors? I had rma numbers both times upon return So this was not a Driver issue or system compatability issue...

Cons: LOUD in SLI (like I checked to make sure someone wasn't vacuuming upstairs... lol)

Pros: POWER POWER POWER!Beautiful cardsPowers 1080p like it's nothing
Comment:
These cards are beasts! I had one 480amp from Zotac and added this guy on to do SLI with. I play BF3 maxed everything and it has never dropped below high 60's. That being said, this sucker is LOUD! As in have your games up loud on speakers or get closed headphones!

Cons: Fan gets loud, requires lots of juice (and power connectors)

Pros: Great performance, reasonably priced.
Comment:
In BF3 at 1080p all "extreme" graphics settings, I'm able to average ~50fps on my 3yr old Q6600-based computer. GPU temperatures hit 102ºC, though my NZXT Hush case maybe doesn't provide ideal airflow.Although the 570 (in some benchmarks) and 580 perform better, there isn't the performance increase to justify the extra cost.Power connectors: You will need 2 6-pin graphics card connectors plus 2 4-pin molex connectors to power this beast (with use of included adaptors). New PSUs may instead allow you to use 1 6-pin graphics card connector and 1 8-pin connector.

it is a great deal to buy one or two at the moment, it's as powerful as gtx 580 although it consumes more power and produces more heat.
