Very fantastic card for the price tag. I don't see any perfomance differance more than the old 9800GT this is replacing. Will not function with my intelligent surge protector. I replaced a an old EVGA 9800GT with this card. My wise surge protector had the Computer, Monitor & Speakers all plugged into it. So when the Pc was powerd on, all the perepherals would energy on as well. With the GT430 the Pc just keeps power cycling on & off. Computer runs fine using a standard surge protector.Response from EVGA Tech Ssupport: "If the technique functions with no the surge protector, but regularly reboots with the surge protector, I would secure it is safe to assume you will need to use a distinct sort of surge protector to get the system to perform correctly.Regards,EVGA"

-Cheapest value around for the top quality gpu it is.-In a position to play somewhat contemporary games on the highest settings.-Comes with simple monitoring software package.-Brought windows index rating of a brand new (onboard gpu) rig from five.5 to 6.7. None so far, perhaps that it isn't SLI compatible but if you're seeking for a budget GPU (which most searching at this card probably are) you aren't worried about SLI anyways. Bought this card as an upgrade for a friend of mine to mostly be applied for gaming. He plays WoW and Rift on Ultra. As effectively a a couple other games on their highest settings (Warhammer 40k, and so on)I originally had been searching at this card for an upgrade for my rig. I haven't ordered one for myself however, but I nevertheless plan on executing so!

It's Nvidia and NewEgg is the Best! The fan is way as well noisy for my HTPC make with a Ceton tuner which has to sit in the slot appropriate next to and in front of the fan on this card. If the card had much more space to breathe perhaps the fan wouldn't run as challenging or loud. I'm going to attempt a Radeon 5450 and see if that performs better. I don't genuinely like the Catalyst drivers but I can't live with the noise.

Smaller than most, quiet, straightforward, plays most games pretty properly. Good for old systems! Cost-effective gaming for this economic climate. Not the greatest for high end gaming. I purchased this for my old HP Pavilion Elite due to the fact my last card fried itself. This 1 stays at a excellent temperature while playing Planet of Warcraft, but I nonetheless can't play the game on max settings (not a massive deal).

I purchased this to replace a brand-new XFX 5670 that I was working with in my Media Center box. The 5670 replaced an older air cooled 9800 GT. I wanted HDMI rather of DVI. The 5670 failed to load the video once the receiver (Onkyo TX3007) was turned off. After fighting with drivers for four hours, I ultimately purchased this card and it works like a champ. Clear video, shows the picture when I turn on the receiver/tv and the audio is fantastic. I don't use it for gaming - its a committed Media Center box - operates like a champ None.

Tiny footprint and Best for gaming. I was worried it wouldn't work since I only have a 250W PSU (with 16A on the ი rail) that came with my Apex MI-100 case, but it does; a 300W - 22A ი rail is what is advised.Took my Windows gaming index from four.6 to 6.7 :)The fan on this thing is quiet. None. Wish it came with at least 1 video cable, the box is way as well big for just the card and the CD - was shocked a tiny when I saw how smaller it was.

Great BANG FOR THE BUCK...... WEI from four.2 to five.9..... 40-60fps....... Fan is not quiet.... at 80% its noisy...... LISTINE...... in a slimline mitx case the psu fan faces the gpu fan. This point was idling at 160degrees.... got up to 185 at times..... ouch. These days, I turned the psu fan about to blow the present out the back of the psu. its running at 125 now... its nonetheless high however.... the case does not have good airflow..... its superior than almost BOILING....

Runs all of my games on the highest settings. For the cost, this is a great acquire if you just want a great video card with out the high price tag. None My build was only 軎 and this card was ideal for what I essential. I am a gamer mainly MMOs. I do not know why you would acquire a 趚 card simply because this factor operates excellent and max settings on all my games.

This card is a small workhorse! I purchased it for my slimline HTPC, but it's actually grow to be much more like my Tv Gaming Pc given that the purchase. I've been able to play Mass Impact 1 in 720p with all of the settings cranked up to max. The game is by no indicates new, but the quality is at least as excellent on this box as on an Xbox 360 (and with out the annoying thumbstick controller!)Sweet card! * not a high-end gaming card* The metal piece at the back of the card with the HDMI and DVI ports attached is not actually slimline - I required to take away and use the metal bezel/output port piece from a burned-out slimline card. If you have an current/broken card with the right form factor rear bezel, this shouldn't be a issue, otherwise you might need to purchase the appropriate piece.* Fewer outputs when you do the above step (no VGA for me, only HDMI & DVI) which was truly no difficulty If your expectations are proper for an HTPC that just does Tv, Video, maybe some online, then this card will absolutely impress!
