The critique outing this card as 'Loud' is misinformed. This baby is quieter than a giraffe at a prison rodeo. Dead Space 2 runs at complete settings at 1920x1080 like a dream, even when coupled with a venerable Phenom X3 8750. It's a neat little single slot card that's surprisingly beefy, in all probability producing five orders of magnitude a lot more of functionality when compared to the 7600GT that it replaced. (also from EVGA) Tiny gripe, but HDMI rather than a mini port would have been nice. My final EVGA card GT) survived unbelievable abuse from me more than the last five years, like drops to the ground, broken diodes, uneducated overclocking, and when I replaced it, it was nonetheless operating just fine. This is a solid corporation. |

-Single slot -Doesn't require power connector Loud. This card is way too loud for HTPC. the minimum fan speed is 65% and you can't go any decrease than that. It is louder than GTX460 and even louder than GTX580 @ idle࿈%ㅪ% fan speed).I don't recognize why they would set the min fan speed so higher. this card need to be silent at 40% fan speed. I'm going to RMA mine but I hope they reconsider and fix the fan speed. it's ridiculous to have a GPU fan blowing 65% at idle. |
Quiet & straightforward, it just functions! none however! Got it on sale, and don't count on it to run the most graphic intense games... it is a good card for all about computing small business applications and such.
