Cons: cooling isn't as efficient as msi cards. depending on the optimization of the game you are playing, the card may not fully utilize the extra memory.
Pros: high vram, supports DVI, HDMI, and display port options. price is reasonable considering it has double the vram as a reference card. |
This card is great if you have a high resolution display or if you are running games in 3d as the high vram helps keep frame rates high. this card can run crysis2 on absolute max with dx11 and high res texture pack at very playable frame rates as opposed to a reference gtx 57o which laggs considerably on max settings. the only cons to this card is depending on the game, the memory utilization may be the same as a standard gtx 570 giving virtually no performance increase. for an extra 50 dollars the extra ram is very much worth it especially if ur running high res displays or 3d. compared to my other msi gtx 570 it does run slightly hotter and if u dont care about extra ram then an msi card may be a better option.
