Cons: -Expensive for what it really is-...but in 2012, it's already obsolete due to AMD's 7970 (reference cards already come with 3GB)-Physx not an important issue for 95% of the games that you'd want to play-For the price, you're only paying for extra memory; it does not come with any exotic 3rd party VGA cooler that can maximize overclocks or give you lower noise, nor is it overclocked out of the box or higher binned for overclock headroom

Pros: -3GB buffer... unlike the default 1.5GB of the regular GTX 580-Best single GPU card of 2011...-Can do Physx, if you care to play the right games
Comment:
This card will likely be Nvidia's top offering in the single GPU segment for a little bit longer to come until Kepler comes to battle the 7970. But if you're in the market for a card right now, get a 7970 instead. And if you really need physx, look up third party drivers that allows you to use an older and cheaper Nvidia card just for that purpose.

Cons: Some system crashes, Query bottleneck with q9300 OC at 3.0GhZ

Pros: Very Fast Card. Runs all games at Maximum settings with one card.
Comment:
One of the best cards I bought. Wondering how The new Radeon Cards compare.

Cons: How about a back plate for that cost? Runs hot at full load as any high-end card will.

Pros: Fast card. 3GB memory! Overclocks great. And its nVidia. What more can you say? This is the third GTX580 I have bought.
Comment:
The only game I found so far that will make a single GTX580 stutter is Batman Archam City. By the way, it comes with the card. Overclocks great on air. Prior to putting a HeatKiller GPU-X3 water block on it, I wanted to see how far I could push it on air.Well, I can assure you the reports that the 3GB GTX580 doesnt overclock as well as the 1536MB variety, are false. Not in the case of this card anyways. On air, I was able to clock the GPU from 772mhz to 1037mhz, and the memory from 2004mhz to 2300mhz. In the process, I smashed the standing 3DMark 11 score in EVGA's site for an single air cooled GTX580. There are only 3 scores above mine and they are all cooled with LN2. 3DMark 11 score P8741. http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2224821

Cons: -none so far

Pros: -push 1080p like butter-3D vision runs like butter-very quiet fan, never heard it kick in higher speed yet
Comment:
coming from a 2 year old computer to my new rig I can say this EVGA Nvidia GTX 580 runs everything smooth like butter on my new 23 inch asus 120Hz 3D ready monitor, I can runs everything over 60fps in stereoscopic 3D except Metro 2033 and that alone for a single video card is outstanding, I will be waiting for Battlefield 3 to come out till I figure out if I want another one of those baby's to pump SLI in action.so my final comment is if you rather wait and save money for a decent card get this one you will never regret it, I don't.

Cons: Bit pricey

Pros: Great for higher resolution displays, having all that memory really helps with all the goodies cranked up! (AA,ANISOTROPIC Ect.)
Comment:
I'm getting all round better FPS in my games as well as less variance in FPS when the screen gets real busy with lots of action going on... EX:No glitching in large explosions or when there's a load of AI flooding into the scene...Been great card so far ZERO issues..I love it..Chy

Cons: Stock fan and heatsink aren't great which is why I bought a better one. Would have been nice to see 2 8-pin connectors like the MSI 3gb for OC potential but that's just me being fussy.

Pros: Handles everything short of 3dmark 11 with ease. Overclocks well with Zalman VF3000F3GB version should help for BF3 and other future games.
Comment:
This card is a serious beast, put a Zalman VF3000F on it and have a stable OC q 925mhz on the core q 1.15V with temps NEVER exceeding 60 degrees on 3dMark/Crysis/BF: BC2/Witcher 2.I would seriously consider getting a 2nd but i'd also need another VF3000 and then it wouldn't fit. :(
