how to get rid of the FPS drop/throttling in games:1) Install the newest 555m drivers from nvidia2) download ThrottleStop, always leave it on with the "Disable Turbo" option checked3) Set minimum and maximum processor power management to 100% (you can leave battery minimum at 5% if you want)4) Change from Automatic to NVidia GT555M in nvidia control panel

neutral: -Low screen resolution. Not a big problem for me, since gaming at 720p allow better performance.-the usb port placement on the right is a joke-The touchpad is garbage, especially the right/left click button that feel stiff, so use a mouse.-no backup dvd, you have to create  them yourself. How cheap is that? and I love the fact they don't even tell you how to do it. You have to be careful not to uninstall one of their bloatware, otherwise you are screwed. My last lg laptop came with no bloatware, a windows vista dvd and all the program updates on another cd. Too bad LG doesn't make laptop anymore, they were the best in that department.Overall, a fantastic purchase for 800$. Perform better than some 1200 $ computer. The fan is by far my biggest complaint. It sounds like an airplane motor after 2 min of gaming, but it does keep the computer cold (the max temperature of the gpu was 80 and the cpu around 70). The num pad on the keyboard seems very fragile, which is not a good news for me as I type a lot of number. Pour les utilisateurs québécois, cette version ne vient pas avec windows 7 bilingue et mes tentatives pour rendre cette version de windows 7 en français n'ont pas marchés.
