Cons: - Only 300GB of storage is usable, though the loss in storage is normal

I am currently using it with the "nGear 2.5IN Mobile SATA Hard Drive Enclosure Black USB2.0", and it works very well. It has a very low idle and seek noise, very common with most laptop-grade hard drives. It powers on fine with only one of the two connectors of the included USB cable of the nGear enclosure. A nice product, and would definitely buy again. |

Excellent drive. The first reviewer should have checked out the limits of his machine and bios. True, most older machines will not recognize the larger hard drives, but that is not the fault of this excellent hard drive. I copied my 160gb drive to this one i set up externally, then replaced the 160 with this one. Bang, it worked like a charm and faster too as expected. So it works in brand new laptops too (other than PS3 upgrades :+)). |

I swapped my PS3 drive for this one and i am very happy with it.It loads and saves very quickly,was reasonably easy to install.Cant beat the value on this drive. |

I have this installed on my ps3 as well and it works great, i have around 50 movies and a few games on the harddrive and still have a little under 200gb of free space. A must have for people who want to buy movies from the playstation store. ((if you plan on installing this or any other hard drive in a ps3, be sure to have the current ps3 firmware on a thumbdrive plugged into the console to formate the hard drive)) |

I used this for external hard drive. It is really fast especially eats tiny power from old PC. I dropped this from 70~80CM when it was working and still works I dropped this probably 4 times but it is still working. If you want to buy a 2.5 inch hard drive I recommend this hard drive |
Great HD for the money. PS3 upgrade from 60 gigs to a whopping 320 gigs completed with out a hitch!
