nice and silent in rubber mounts, cool to the touch yet I still have it in front of a intake, its being used as the primary drive in a W7U64 system, nice and quick start up even though its a new os. not bad fro the price, |

I bought 3 of those hard drives, 1 was DOA (it happens, no biggie) and another one that is on it's way to the HDD cemetary since it started clicking badly and locks up/freeze the whole PC while it's doing it. RMA time again.I have experience with other Hitachi drives, which are fine, but this model is not I would recommand for someone who bets on reliability. |

Good drive at first, but started making a loud clicking after only a few days. Hard drive SMART revealed a pile of reallocated sectors.
