This may possibly be a very good Card for running 4 monitor systems but there are more affordable cards that out execute and handle much more monitors...... the PowerColor AX5770 hadles five monitors and the SAPPHIRE 100290SR Radeon HD 5870 does 6 monitors...Both function nicely I create alot of Trading PCs @ whiplashpc.com.....just a heads up to help save you money... Value .... discover much more mon support with the above mentioned

good card that seemed to come with the dongles required for a 4 monitor setup only 2 monitors will diplay unless they have DisplayPorts or you acquire a high priced adapter. I located this details after fighting with the card for a week, obtaining matching 23" monitors... only to have ATI/AMD assistance tell me I require 2 adapters not included to run 4 monitors. before I obtain the adapters can anyone confirm that I need to have "active" display adapters to support four monitors? I can give the newegg portion number for the adapter if required.

I was a little hesitant at very first to acquire this card because the price was so LOW compared to other quad cards that I have tested. Bottome lin is that it operates beautifully for my trading setup of 8 widescreen monitors...and handles video simultaneously no problem..Also no fans so they are silent! None that I can feel of My system: Asus Sabertooth, i7-980X, 12 GB DDR3 RAM, 64 GB Vital SSD, 500 GB hdd, win 7 ult 64 bit

I'm a day trader in want of 4 monitors to keep an eye out on some charts. Reading evaluations, the FirePro 2460 was targeted towards expert workstation users / day traders, so I decided to attempt the video card out. Now, before everybody asks me "Why didn't you just get two basic PCI-E video cards? it would have been more affordable", I'll go ahead and answer that question.I have an Intel DQ45CB motherboard with 2 DVIs on-board and a single x16 PCI-E port. You can\'t use the on-board video card along with a PCI-E 1. Shopping around, this was truly the least expensive PCI-E video card out there that handled 4 monitors suitable away. I even priced together a new i7 laptop or computer until I realized it would be cheaper to just get this card.I downloaded the latest drivers from ATI/AMD's web page. Installation was smooth as butter.I like how this is a fanless design, so no noise whatsoever. Comes with 4 mDP->DVI cables too! None, other than the fact that this is the ONLY video card out there that supports quad monitors at high resolutions, so options are restricted. There was the FirePro 2450, but it was DVI only with 256MB of memory with a price distinction of 20$. Technique specifications:Windows 7 Pro x64, Intel DQ45CB, Q8200 two.33 GHZ, 8 GB DDR2 memory, WD VelociRaptor 300 GB SATAWith on-board video card, Windows Knowledge Index reported 4.four and three.five for Desktop and Gaming Graphics efficiency respectively. Now, I am obtaining 5.3 and 6.1.Currently driving a pair of Dell E228WFPs and a Dell P2411h. One more P2411h is on its way.
