Cons: Only 802.11B/G...not N. No bluetooth. The 6 cell battery claimed to last up to 11 hours...but actually is good for 4 hours in real life.

Pros: Nice price. Came with a 6 cell battery. Cool looking texture.
Comment:
I bought this netbook a month ago. Asus claimed that the 6 cell battery can last up to 11 hours, but all I can get is around 4 to 5 hours under real life working conditions. Compare to my Acer AspireOne netbook, the Asus 1001P speakers are louder....unfortunately, the WiFi signal reception is much weaker. I am disappointed that Asus should try to save a few pennies by cutting corner on 802.11N. I am also disppointed that my Asus 1001P doesn't come with protective sleeve or restore DVD.

Cons: The current Intel graphics driver under Windows 7 does not support 1024*768 with vertical screen panning as supported in the EeePC 1005 series (I witnessed in-store)

Pros: -Small, light, good battery life, -Express Gate instant-on dual boot features-Quick restore to factory default (like a clean reinstall of your machine)
Comment:
It's easy to see and no problem read the text, but I find the widescreen does not have the vertical resolution I would like, especially with everything like the windows taskbar and browser tab bars taking up valuable vertical screen space. I find 1024 * 600 is a bit too short for me. I was really hoping to use this vertical panning feature of the video card. I was able to get it to output 1024*768 in Windows 7 with a registry edit, but the image is compressed on the screen and there is no graphics driver option to disable LCD compression (as there is in graphics drivers on older EeePC netbooks)

Comment:
Overall an excellent netbook. I havent turned it on yet but will update  or write another review when I do. The strenths which i listed are by far the most important visual aspects to me of purchasing a netbook. Dual-Boot (Asus OS and Windows 7) seems like an interesting feature that I'll be looking forward to trying out.
