Each function for about 30 seconds. As stated in pros operates for about 30 seconds then goes into a pixalated state across complete screen in random colors. Tried on two various pc's on 3 diverse operating systems. Attempted all the ports on the back of the card. Tried many drivers that i could dig up with no luck. Not trying once again. Not saying its a undesirable card but just cant get it to operate. Returning and purchasing a different card. Purchased an agp style card of identical brand and worked good.

Compared to integrated graphics on a Biostar A780L mobo, desktop graphics score using Aero went from four. to 4.9 and gamingǙD enterprise graphics score went from 5. to six.four (a 28% improvement). Note that Hybrid Crossfire X is not enabled in the 780L chipset, so the above scores are making use of the 4650 video card alone. NONE. I have this low profile card in a house theater Pc using a 32 inch 1080p Television set as a monitor to watch NetFlix and Hulu. Runs smooth as glass! Right here's the build: Biostar A780L micro ATX mobo, AMD PhenomII X2 545 Callisto 3. GHz CPU, 4 Gb ADATA DDR2 800 RAM, Rosewill R379-M case with integral 300W PS, Samsung SH-S203B CD/DVD reader/writer, WD 500 Gb SATA Caviar "Blue" HD, Sapphire HD 4650 video card. This mixture resulted in a appropriate fine HTPC.

Functions nicely on computers with a low power source. For the most part it runs smoothly, and fits perfectly in smaller computer systems. Tends to make extremely small noise. None so far. If you've got a little pc with a low power provide than choose this up. Only point I regret is not purchasing it sooner.

Does exactly what I want it to,plays HD video effectively and even plays Warcraft on a respectable level.Fantastic overall performance/price ratio, low power(using 300 watt PSU)stays cool.General this card is a good buy. None genuinely, but I consider as one more reviewer pointed out the fan can make a high pitched buzzing noise at times,it's not bothersome but you can nonetheless faintly hear it,preserve in mind my computer is only about 2 feet from me.

Cards performs great with XP, XP-x64, Vista, and Windows 7. HDMI is utilized on all OPs and performs. Card is working on an Asus, M2N68-AM PLUS mobo, with Athlon ii x2 processor three. GHz. None, so-far. Haven't tried it in a crossfire circumstance, however. Can hardly wait to get mobo and processor and yet another card to attempt the crossfire.

Performs good, can play most games (even newer ones) on higher settings. I even bought a VGA to dvi adapter along with it, but when I got it, it came with one, so that was quite cool. I may be nitpicking but how a lot of gamers or builders have slimline circumstances? I'm seeing more and a lot more cards come attached to a slim bracket and you have to switch it to match in a "normal" case. I believe they ought to make the slim bracket the secondary option as an alternative of the first. Also, my package came about eight days or so right after ordering. It only ships from Cali and I'm in Oregon, I should have gotten it a bit sooner considering it's supposed to be three day shipping Overall, I adore the card. I always acquire sapphire and have under no circumstances had a issue. They are excellent cards particularly given the price. I say purchase it if you want a decent gaming knowledge. But not if your creating a high finish system to play new games for the subsequent few years. I like to remain a year or two behind for affordability.

right off the bat i have to say Cost, this card was 60 a month or two ago, when i got on this time to order it price tag went down. so i utilized the saved money an went with next day shipping. i went from 15-20fps on a game with the lowest settings, place the card in an now i can run settings on ultra an still get 25fps. i generally roll with one step beneath ultra settings an do 35fps. gets uncomfortably hot so theres not a lot area to over clock safely. but with the fan on auto it generally stays about 20-40% so i can only assume it knows what its doin. if for any reason you have a heat purpose with it you need to attempt to use HDMI, dropped the typical temp over 1 hour by 5c which is a nice. following a few weeks ill update. i only had about 4 hours to toy with it before operatetook my comps score from a 3.three to a 5 even. so it was a decent upgrade for my 2year old low cost method

This card is incredibly great in the aspects of light to moderate gaming and watching DVDs. This card runs Crysis on High @ 1280x720 at about 40 FPS. Call of Duty four Modern day Warfare at 60 񡾀x720, on Further Graphics and 4x Anti Aliasing). and all of The Orange Box at good frames. This is an superb card for a moderate gamer. None Card runs completely on a 350W Energy Provide. Low Profile Bracket pre-installed.

Plugged it in/installed drivers and it worked dual screen VGA and HDMI with audio. Functions on my 275 watt power supply. It automatically detects when I turn on my AV reciever (via HDMI pass-through to Television) and extends the screen. When I turn off the Television it automatically goes back to single screen. I primarily use it for streaming films etc. to the Television with the sound coming from my 7.1 surround household theater program. Too straightforward. --Rebate did not work but contacted Newegg and they gave me the ฟ back to my account.--NEWEGG is the only location for electronics. So far, I have not discovered something wrong with it. When you purchase a video card, do your investigation and make sure that you buy a card that does what you want it to. This does precisely what I want it to.

- Runs on a 180W energy provide with no troubles- Plays most modern day games at medium settings no difficulty. - Really quiet. Occasionally the fan will make a whirring noise but absolutely nothing undesirable. - Will possibly want a much more high priced card after I upgrade the energy supply, but that's much more of a commentary on my wish to play with ultra higher settings. This card compliments my i-three processor really nicely. I got it up and running in about 4 minutes. I kind of want it was GDDR3 but what can you do.

You can\'t get a greater card at this value / efficiency on NewEgg. Immediately after the rebate the thing is ำ (opt for the Ū rapid return, or wait ten-12 weeks). For budget gamers this card will play most games created up till 2008 on the highest settings, at an acceptable resolution. Other games, such as the almighty Crysis, call for a lower resolution with shadows and such turned off. Instance may possibly be a complete GPU OC on Crysis on high outcomes in 25-30 FPS at a pitiful 1024x768. In any occasion, if you have a kid that desires to play some more modern day games on a true spending budget develop, can't go wrong right here. I love that two year old card tech is about the very same price tag as 5 year old card tech was five years ago, if that makes sense. Memory is weak compared to other options. There was a HIS 4670 1GB DDR3 on right here for ฟ much more (if you don't care about the rebate). When OCing the card, the memory can\'t go quite high at all, so be cautious. Catylast AutoTune gave utterly incorrect readings for OC options, and I thought for a moment there it fried my card (lots of glitching). Keep away from AutoTune at all costs. Memory won't go over 125 Mhz spec, I don't dare go more than 100 for short time periods. GPU will max out although, with no artifacting, no notion if my cool rig is enabling that or what. Some games I've played with this card considering that receiving it consist of SW: The Force Unleashed, CoD: Black Ops, Laura Croft and the Guardian of Light. The 1st two ought to have their settings gimped, particularly shadows. The final 1 will play on highest settings with no actual concerns that I saw. Idles at 45C, which is, for my rig, rather hot. Beneath load it hits about 60C. OC'd to 755릌, temps didn't go up any greater, although its idle temp is 50C. Won't OC for games, I want this card to last me a small whilst, it's by no implies primarily for gaming. To the particular person saying it's not an improvement over Radeon HD 4200, I beg to differ, as it's at least a 4x improvement. When you could probably fork out another ๛ for a card that entirely obliterates this one, it's a really nice acquire at the moment. I wanted to get this card to stem the tide amongst now and when the 57xx's have their price tag drop in the next year or so. The onboard graphics I had weren't cutting it.

Its 55nm. This card might only have 512MB of ram, but thats all it requirements. HDMI is nice, supports sound. 128 bit! It packs a punch for such a small card. Really Quiet card! Considerably quieter than my HD 4890.(bad comparison) Runs a bit hot for my liking. 54C idle. But a Dell Optiplex 740 SFF is not the finest case for appropriate cooling. Thats my fault. Make positive you have great cooling. I had issues with Windows XP, apparently 1080p streaming is terrible. I had some video tearing. Its not the cards fault, its Windows...:/

Would be nice for gaming if doesn't break in the mail. Came by means of the mail, popped it into my PCI slot (Fit nice)Plugged my display cable into the card, card ran for about 2 seconds and the fan broke. Nothing at all showed up on the screen so I couldn't install it or anything. Had to go back to my old card. Would've been genuine awesome if it worked, maybe I just got genuinely unlucky and got a dud.

Installs Simple & works well so far. Good price with the rebate if you get it. Rebate is slow. Opted for the five Day rebate which deducts from your amount. Mailed it on Nov 3rd, they claim they received it on Nov 12th, they approved & processed it on Nov 19th & I received it on December 9th. So it was far more like a 5 week rebate not 5 Day. My model is unique then this a single. If you can get a great price without the rebate OK, but they truly irked me with their rebate Krapola. For the card I give three Eggs, for general 1 Egg. You see when a organization does that kind of Krapola then you have to wonder how their service will be if you have a challenge.

Good tiny card for the cash. This was the only card in it's value variety that had the 128-bit memory bus. I installed this card in a friend's laptop to replace a GeForce 8400GS. He couldn't think the clarity and all round speed improvement this card made to his method. Almost two weeks following giving him his pc back, he nevertheless raves at how significantly more quickly his complete personal computer is now. It's not the super rocket-quickly gaming performance video card you hoped you'd get for affordable. You get what you pay for. The only bottleneck this has is the 128-bit memory bus, it could have been 256-bit for yet another couple of bucks, but at least it's not 64-bit. That would Genuinely be negative. This card is really not terrible. I seem to have superior luck general longevity-wise with the ATI cards right here the last couple of years. The nVidia cards appear to run hotter and fail far more usually than the ATI's do now. This is from a Computer technician that has been doing this considering that Pc's initially began out. I advise ATI video, Asus motherboards, Intel processors, Geil or Corsair XMS RAM, Seagate difficult drives. These are decades-established technologies that have a low failure price.

Good card, silent, no issues! I use it in a MAME cabinet that also runs newer Computer games (SF4, PS2 emulators) and its ideal! I cant vouch for HDMI mainly because I just use the DVI Sent in my rebate papers when I first got the card, and havent heard back. Its been about 2 months now...

Great card, effortless installment and tiny enough for the side panel to fit back on. It requires more than the mentioned quantity of energy. When i ordered the card, in the information section it failed to notify me of how much energy the card itself took. So when i finally received the card it expected a 400W or far better power provide. I would have to say something greater than 400W is greater because that even isn't sufficient. So please Newegg give far more details on this item just before an individual buys it.

Wonderful card... uncomplicated installation in my HTPC low-profile case. Windows 7 worked out of the box ahead of I installed the drivers and Catalyst Control Panel. Idles about 40C. Inside the last week, abruptly decided to start overheating... following installation, temps below load had been hovering about 88-90C, and now it gets up to more than 100C with the case open and a fan placed so it blows air towards the GPU fan (I also have one particular that blows the hot exhaust air out the back of the case).Checked it, and the heatsink and fan aren't clogged with dust, so I don't know what the dilemma could be (maybe the thermal compound dried up in that kind of heat). Like I mentioned... wonderful card; rapidly as all-get-out.Just wish it was straightforward to find an right after-industry cooling remedy that would fit a low-profile graphics card in a low-profile case.
