- Excellent bang for the buck - Rebates are lame Got this card today, initially issue taking it out of the box, it feels well-produced, good beefy heat sink with angled fan design.Popped simply into the PCIe slot, driver install was smooth (get the newest ATI Catalyst drivers off the net, not the disk)Distinction amongst my old card (ATI 5450) and new (ATI 5770) is like night and day. Right now I got Eve-On-line running in the background, every thing cranked up max, 50-60 fps strong, the graphics appear delicious.I was concerned that my 480watt PS couldn't manage it, but so far no issues. I'll update later if something develops. If you do any overclocking etc, you could need a far better PS but for me this is really great outcome and I have no plans to OC.

Low energy consumption, cool operating, and nearly as quickly as the HD 4890!I purchased this card for the HDMI connection to use with an HTPC. It replaces an HD 4890 and I couldn't be additional pleased! It is quiter, uses significantly less energy, one particular much less power connector, and runs a lot cooler.I haven't really noticed the slight performance reduce in any of my games (and no I don't just play "Frogger"). I have noticed a difference in my Windows 7 desktop and other applications that are making use of DX11.For the price and efficiency, this buy is a no brainer. I wished Sapphire would contain in their installation guidelines a little FAQ on how to set up the ATI CCC with HDMI. I had a black border of about one particular inch about the screen and it took about an hour to figure out to check the GPU scaling box. Click that tiny box and the screen is completely utilized. You might also have to set a slider for "overscan" all the way to the suitable, or Ŕ". Packaging and excellent of the card I received is top rated notch. This is my 1st Sapphire card. I commonly acquire an additional brand supplying a double life time warranty, but since I hardly ever own a card past two years, I am happy to have gone with Sapphire this time around.

Very quickly, very cool, very quiet. This card is running two monitors for me and defaults Starcraft two to "Ultra" settings on 1920x1080.On specific custom games I have to turn it down to "High" settings and occasionally even "Low", but that is to be anticipated as there is no limit to how graphically/CPU intense those custom games can be.I haven't bought a second a single however, but a lot of benchmarks are showing two of these in crossfire to be much better than a GTX 470 and a Radeon 5850, and just under a 5870 and GTX 480. I honestly can't think of any correct now. This card has brought me peace of mine, hopefully for great. I've been dealing with faulty 9800GX2s... horrible cards.I've only had it for a bit over a week, so I will come back and re-review if something adjustments for the worse.

-Fantastic bang-for-the-buck. -The fan is amazingly quiet. At 70% it is still barely noticeable.-The temps are wonderful also, so far, I have not observed it go above 55 degrees. Hopefully it stays that way.-Great functionality (See other thoughts). Not receiving my hopes up till at least year passes, but correct off-the-bat there are nothing but pros. I commonly don't create evaluations, but I just had to for this card. This card replaced my old GTX 280 that began finding the PSOD challenge a lot of others appear to get. It only lasted a small more than a year as well... shame.Seeing how cool this card stays, I doubt there will be any overheating or challenges caused from high temps. Hunting forward to what this card can do.Thinking about this card is half the cost of my old 280, absolutely silent, stays icy cool, and has practically as significantly energy as the old card. I am 1 content person.

Ran decently well. Played most games on higher or ultra settings. There have been GSOD (Grey Screen of Death) difficulties on virtually all of the most recent games I played like Starcraft II, Final Fantasy XIV and Star Wars: the Force Unleashed. If there wasn't GSOD, the graphics driver would often quit working and have to restart resulting in the games freezing and then often reloading. Consulting forums on the web I manually set the fan speed to 80% keeping the GPU settings otherwise the exact same and found that it did not enable. This might have just been a bug but there have been also a lot of comments on-line about folks with this exact same challenge so I opted to go with an nVidia GTX 460 as an alternative.

So very quiet. Overclocking is surprisingly easy, with the catalyst control center, and how cool it stays. Efficiency is crazy. See other thoughts for method specs. No VGA output, only 128-bit. This method, with this graphics card, runs Crysis on Higher, Medal of Honor maxed out, Just Cause two, and virtually just about every other game with no dilemma. This card is incredible. Just put, I jack the graphics top quality of every single game I have all the way to max with 8x MSAA and it is nonetheless running involving 40 and 60 FPS. Brought my 3DMark score up to more than 9000 with the other hardware that I installed. There is no water block for the card however that I have found to integrate into my existing liquid cooling method.

Excellent card, have had zero difficulties with rendering/speed. Working with two 5770's to run my six monitors. Only complaint is that to run the 3rd monitor on the card you require to use displayport... Consistent with all the 5770s however (not just Sapphire) so I can't truly complain too substantially.

This is an remarkable card for the price tag. I saw a large improvement in the FPS of my games and I can now watch HD video devoid of any sputter. It isn't the most highly effective video card out there (you won't be operating Crysis two at max settings), but for the price tag it is good. I upgraded from integrated graphics, which explains the Massive improvement. This card must be capable to take on something you throw at it relatively nicely.

SUPER CARD! Wonderful bang for your buck. I got this card in June of 2010 when MSRP was 赔 and now i want a second a single to run crossfire. Runs super cool and quiet in my P182 case and it just eats up whatever i can throw at it.The Vapor-X series cards from Sapphire sound a small gimicky but if you check out the reivews and benchmarks it essentially runs cooler than the reference cards. Its a Fantastic choice if you dont want to have crazy cooling in your case.Runs most existing games on med-high at 1680x1050.Can MAX settings on the following (slightly older) games;Worldwide AgendaAliens vs PredatorBioshock twoLeft four Dead twoGroup Fortress 2Supreme Commander twoBorderlandsOblivion (modded for higher res) Had a heck of a time trying to get this issue to run on my old MOBO. After weeks (weeks!) of troubleshooting with tech support and ordering new components i lastly replaced my board with something much more present and i've had ZERO issues given that. Note: Turns out that it was the precise chipset my old gigabyte board had that was incompatible, it was a 6 year old board and time to get a new one anyway. Sapphire assistance was incredibly useful and responsive. They were quite patient with me as i tested every single element of my computer to get the card functioning. I'm seeking forward to obtaining a second card so i can run crossfire.DX11 is fun to play around with but honestly i still run all my games in DX9 for greater FPS. Possibly DX11 will be worth it with xfire.Newegg, as often, is Awesome.Method specs for these who care..Antec P182 CaseOCZ StealthXStream 600W PSUBioStar A770E MotherboardAMD Athlon 64 X2 6000 Ɠ.1 GHz dualcoreƟGB DDR2 800and of course, Sapphire Vapor-X 5770

Great card, low cost, it's every thing you could ask for for a card of this cost. None This can run most games at max settings really nicely (excluding Crysis, of course :P).I didn't expect it to be as fantastic as it is and I'm quite pleased. With all settings maxed out (resolution 1440x900), Require For Speed: Shift runs at a comfy 60 fps :)Ultimately, I anticipate to obtain a second a single to partake in these crossfire shenanigans.

Worked appropriate off, quite uncomplicated installation. In Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10 the video driver disc was unnecessary as the driver was located and provided by either Microsoft Update or integrated in Ubuntu ten.10. Fan runs all the time, making some noise. Is slightly annoying as my all round program is usually practically silent. Can run my program at 1920X1080 (Hi-Def) for hours as I watch movies, play a wide range of video games and also do 3D object creation and manipulation devoid of any flicker or hesitation. Entirely worth the expense!

This is a good small card let me tell ya. It stays cool on idle and under load and plays games quite well. I like it as much as my older 9800gtx+ i had. But had to upgrade for direct x 11. Id say its a bit faster than the 9800gtx+ but with direct x 11. As for the Drivers i just loaded the ones that came with the card from the cd to make issues simple. Atis allways had funky drivers as far as the set up is concerned. Saphire could use a better warranty. They have no client service number in the Us major no no. And they dont supply a transferable warranty.

Cool, quiet, little, definitely no difficulties on my Corsair CMPSU-400CX energy provide, which is only 400 watts. No framerate problems in any newer game I personal at 1440x900 with maximum settings.(Left four Dead 1ǘ, Team Fortress 2, Dawn of Discovery, Mass Effect 1ǘ, Dragon Age: Origins, BioShock, Street Fighter IV) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic does have some framerate difficulties, even when I disable 8x supersampling. I think it might be a issue with the game though, as it didn't run properly on my ATI HD 4670 or Nvidia 7600 GT either. It's not unplayable or anything, I just can't preserve 60 fps at all instances.

For a mid-range card, this thing is a killer. It crushes my old 8800GT SLI combo in just about every single way attainable. Not to mention it is quieter and cooler. The existing generation of cards appear far beyond what I could have imagined. Make quality and reliability. I picked up a card here with several other persons. Of the 7 of us who bought it, myself and 1 other person are the only two that have managed to hold the card operating. It seems like it may well just be a ticking time bomb. When my card hasn't given out on me yet, it seems like the five-series has a tendency to just give up. Once more, I've seen it 5 out of 7 instances here. I bought this card to replace two 8800GTs in an SLI setup. It is a hold more than card for when I truly replace the whole system here. It is a solid performer and has exceeded all of my expectations. With eight gigs of DDR2 and an AMD X2 6000+ I can play a plethora of games and uncover them to all be additional than satisfactory.

Runs Star Trek: On-line butter smooth at 1920x1280 on higher. Quiet at idle. Loud when gaming, definitely will need to turn up the speakers or use a headset. To be anticipated with this level of card though. Purchased for a new machine when my old one particular quit. Very first time ATi purchaser and so far I enjoy this card. Runs Empire: Total War and ST:O on high with no lagging or choppiness at all.
