I have no complaints with this little netbook. It works well, performs as promised and is so handy while traveling. My only complaint is the sleek black plastic allows every smudge to show, but I keep a rag handy and wipe it down with every use. Good battery life, would recommend.

Shared the DVD on the home PC over the Router and loaded up all the applications I needed: Zune software and added content from Zune to Netbook, it's a great way to play your tunes! Delorme TopoMap 7.0 with a USB based GPS antenna. Screen refresh rate and performance are excellent with this combination. Nology LaptopDyno working fine with USB to Serial Cable adapter into the modem and OBD II port under the dash. Can diagnose various sensors and values attributed to the OBD II standard for post 1995 vehicles. This is a great GPS solution for your car with plenty of room to see the Delorm softwares's information. Totally stoked on the price point for this unit and the performance it is providing.

Got this about 5 weeks ago. WE have 2 full size laptops, but wanted to try the netbook. My wife loves it. We put ms office on it and now its her work commputer. Also the ASUS external DVD was a great match. Going to by another 1 next month.

It is a nice netbook for me. I used it for windows live messenger talking and listen music, read news,watch movies etc. It is light and easy carry. I like it very much. But the battery is only for up to 4 hrs(it usually is 3 hrs). So buy a battery for 8 hrs is better.

Owning the Eee PC just over a month, this netbook is perfect for travel. It is light weight, clear picture, and great for email or browsing the internet. Even though there is no DVD player, I can put my movies on the hard drive and watch them very quietly using less power.

Netbook had everything I wanted, but it was in need of repair within 10 days of receiving (dozens of keys stopped working). ASUS customer service wasn't the greatest, but this site did take the netbook back for a full refund. Almost got the same netbook again due to the value, but switched to a different brand for a replacement.

I liked this netbook PC even better when it was in my hands. This was a Christmas present for my mother and she will not put it down. When I get my hands on it I am still as impressed as the 1st day it came in the mail. looks black but it a nice NAVY blue!!

I ordered the item and then immediately realized that I did not need to product and COMP USA canclled and credited my account ASAP. I plan on buying all my electronic office needs from COMPUSA.

High performance, very portable, convenient. Does have a scrolling feature (as well as a few others) on the mousepad. Works with newest version of Rosetta Stone, although in some excercises the font is a bit small.

Simple netbook, capable for basic web browsing and simple tasks but the atom processor does not compare to culv or regular notebook processors in terms of power. At 300$ this is a solid purchase if you plan on using it for it's intended uses. If you have hopes of a multi-media or gaming capable portable. Look elsewhere.

The Asus Eee netbook PC is an excellent unit. I am a big Mac user but for a small, very portable unit I am very pleased with it so far. The battery life does not seem to be quite as long as the reviews suggest but overall, we are very pleased.

Got it for $250 on sale -- fabulous value! The best features are the excellent keyboard layout and the "dotted" touchpad. Battery life is about 4 hours based on typical usage. Generic batteries are easy to find. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-20-10 05:03 PM

This netbook is so far good, but it would be better if it has a scrolling function in the keypad.

I searched the web for the top rated netbooks and this was one of the top. It has a nice size keyboard and many great features. The price was also good.

I want to remind anybody reading this review what this is, a netbook, not a high powered notebook. For surfing the web, watching Youtube, streaming Netflix, working in Microsoft Office, it does these things well. For using Photoshop, editing videos, and playing games it will not work. It is meant to be small and portable to do the things I listed first. If that is what you expect out of your netbook you will be happy. If you expcect more you will be very, very upset. I know what it is for and I love it.
