Cons: Lacks a dedicated GPU.Default Win7 Install has some Lenovo bloatware on it.

Pros: One of the Cheapest i7 notebooks I could find. Screen is beautifulNearly a full size keyboard (with number pad). Keyboard is snappy and responsive, it almost feels like a mechanical keyboard. It even has a nice clicky sound to it.All drivers are on a separate factory partition.
Comment:
I honestly love this thing. It's very fast. I opted for installing VMware Player on it to emulate Windows XP instead of just putting XP on it (I need XP for work) and in full screen mode I can barely even tell that I'm emulating Windows XP.I'm very skeptical about buying new Notebooks because so many are such garbage these days. So far this doesn't seem to be the case with this laptop. The processor feels very responsive. I don't wait very long for much to happen. The keyboard is my favourite feature of the notebook. It's nearly a full size keyboard (there is some interesting placement of the Home/End/PgUp/PgDn and arrow keys but it's not that hard to get used too and you have to be willing to compromise somewhere with a laptop keyboard. I can verify that the keyboard is the US International Keyboard, there is no funky french accent keys or anything (I despise that keyboard) although NCIX seemed unavailable to confirm this and I had to gamble and buy the notebook to find out.The Wifi on this thing kicks some serious butt too. I dunno what makes it so fast but I can barely even tell that it's wireless even when I'm gaming. Now let's talk about gaming a bit. I play TF2, L4D2, Wow and a BF3. It does TF2, L4D2 and Wow pretty much flawlessly. Even on high settings it's decent but I drop  it to mid anyways. For BF3 I have to drop  the resolution to about 800x600 and quality to Low but that's not surprising as the laptop doesn't even have a dedicated GPU, it's just got onboard Intel. All in all, I can't complain about it all. I bought it for work and now I get to have some fun with it as well. My only real qualm with it is the default install of the Lenovo bloatware. I really despise when manufacturers set their default installs with a bunch of programs that clutter up your system immediately. So I wiped it clean immediately put a fresh copy of Win7 Ultimate on it and to my surprise I discovered all of the system drivers on a separate hard drive partition. That makes getting the system up and running a snap.I've wanted to try Lenovo ever since they bought out the IBM Thinkpad line (those were my fav notebooks, I owned 2 of them). I'm glad I finally did and if this notebook continues to perform the way it's doing now I'll certainly be buying from them again.

Cons: No discrete gpu

Pros: Price point (on sale)
Comment:
Quad core system at a decent price, everything works smoothly; however, not quite the gaming machine which is expected considering the price point.

Cons: Disappointingly slow, bad keyboard, looks ugly

Pros: Excellent audio
Comment:
I expected this laptop to perform well given its specs, but I was disappointed. Even surfing the internet with a fast browser like Chrome is slow. The keyboard has annoyingly small keys, especially the right shift and enter key. It also looks ugly (brown with orange?....come on...). The only good thing is the JBL audio. I should have known better than to buy a gaming laptop from Lenovo. Lenovo reliability apparently isn't very good either.

Cons: None so far

Pros: very nice and efficient for the price
Comment:
Just received this laptop, i haven't had a chance to test it out much but it looks great. Purchased on sale for 679$ so fairly good deal for an i7. It has a nice purpleish brushed aluminum surface around the keyboard and front. It is much darker than the picture thay have on here but it doesn't make it girly at all since it's very dark.

Cons: - The XP wireless driver from Lenovo's website doesn't work (Device manager says it could not start the devie code 10)

Pros: - Price- Fast- XP Support (except the wireless for some reason)
Comment:
If you leave windows 7 on this you will have 0 issues that is why I am not deducting a star. The simple fact that it is nearly impossible to find new laptops that have any kind of XP support is really the reason I can't willfully deduct a star.
