Cons: Bad warrentyFailed after ncix warrenty was up

Pros: CheapPowerful
Comment:
Got this card for a friend, seemed really nice at first but problems began after first month of use. The card cannot render even the desktop properly at this point and is in que to be RMA'd directly to sapphire which is going to cost $30 for transit and replacement to Hong Kong. Not happy with the purchase due to poor warrenty and the relativly quick failure.

Cons: Cooler a bit loud

Pros: Plays most games smoothly at 1680x1050PriceHDMI
Comment:
Nice card for the price. I picked this over a 4850 because the performance difference is small, it uses less power and frankly, I didn't want to wait for a stupid mail-in rebate. The cooler is a bit loud however - it seems like it tries to keep the GPU temperature at around 50C which is insane. You can reduce it to 25% speed using RivaTuner, but it still isn't quiet. I ended up connecting it to a Zalman fanmate (mangled the pins on it a bit to get it to fit snug) to run it around 6V. 5V was too litte - the GPU temperature hit 85C when stressed with Furmark. If you attempt this, the blue wire is the PWM wire and the green wire is the RPM sensor (the equivalent of the yellow wire on most standard 3-pin fans). Make sure you connect the right pins or you might burn the fan out.FYI, so there's no DVI adapter included, but there is a 6-pin power adapter though.

Cons: It's not able to handle everything, great.

Pros: Great budget card
Comment:
It's no 4890, but still for the price handles itself decently. I upgraded from a Crossfire setup using dual ATI X1650 PRO cards to this card and have been impressed by the performance increase experienced. Most games with this card I've been able to move settings from med-low to high

Cons: - None.

Pros: - Price- Almost Equal To ATI 4850- Better Cooler Than On Previous 1950 Pro Card This One Replaces.- Better Graphics.
Comment:
Bought this card to replace an aging Sapphire 1950 Pro card, and there is a noticeable difference when playing games, i.e. can raise the resolution and turn on more visuals without it impacting game play. For $100, you get a card that is almost the same as a 4850, but at a lower cost. For the casual gamer, this card rocks.Highly recommend it!

Cons: Physically, it is huge and had trouble concerning my case size

Pros: Very powerful for the price
Comment:
This is an excellent video card for the price for a budget gaming PC, as I am able to run games like COD4 on high settings, and Fallout 3 on medium-high settings without considerable lag. I have not had any of the driver issues I had with my Nvidia 7300GS and it runs smoothly and quietly. The only con is that the video card is physically huge, and I needed to manually alter  the input spot on the card for it to be able to fit into my case properly. Other than that, it's wonderful, just make sure to check your case dimensions before your purchase this.

Overall the Sapphire Radeon HD4830 has been a great addition to my new system. I have been able to play Crysis, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Need for Speed Undercover, 007 Quantum of Solace. I got it at a great price as well. Excellent card at low cost.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: Will Play Anything out there c 1680x1050

This card was grouped in with a system I put together a couple weeks ago. No regrets at all. It is quite the performer. A great low cost all around gaming card. I only wish the P5QL Pro motherboard I purchased supported two of them. This card would be an absolute beast in crossfire.

Cons: Not as powerful as the 4850

Pros: Very Quietsupports crossfireinexpensive
Comment:
I don't play a LOT of games, but for the shooters I play this has worked great. My last card was a 3850 and this thing blows the knees off of that. For this price I even though about buying 2 and running a X-fire setup... Maybe later :). The idea of X-fire made even more sense after using it for a while, just because its soo quiet that having 2 wouldn't be too noisy a all.I was on a budget though, and this was on special for 129 - I have no regrets. Scores a 5.9 in Vista, if that means anything to you. :)
