Cons: Haven't found any yet, other than it takes up two slots.
Pros: Has HDMI with HD audio. At idle it's running at a steady 31C according to GPU-Z with a fan speed of 28%. So it's cool and quiet. It got into the 40sC at about 60% load. This is much better than the 8600GTS it replaced which idled at over 50C. |
I bought this card because of the low watts required, as it's a second video card on a 500 watt PSU and it's good HD rendering. Better than the other 5xxx cards below it and I've read better than the best GT240.My other card is an 8800GT but they are playing well together on Windows7. It hasn't got a Display Port but who's going to use a HD 5670 for eyefinity. I used the CD to install the drivers as I'd read of others having trouble with the drivers from ATI for this card.
