Pros: Small.Portable.HDMI.Wireless Draft N.Chiclet keyboard.

I use this netbook for school work and internet (no gaming). I also hook this up to my 52" TV when I'm at home and I use it as an HTPC. The only thing that bugs me is that it does heat up pretty fast and it does get pretty warm. Overall, I'm very pleased with this small but powerful netbook.

Cons: - battery life could be longer?

Pros: - fast processor- lightweight- nice screen
Comment:
I had this netbook for about 2.5 months and so far its pretty good. I haven't used it that much since this was a computer for my mom. The battery life is definately longer than my gaming laptop at around 4 hours. It is very lightweight and it's great carrying it around everywhere. Youtube HD videos plays almost flawlessly but I haven't extensively tested it. Overall, it's a excellent netbook.

Cons: battery life

Pros: powerful, dual core, looks great, can handle up to 8 gig of ram, hdmi out
Comment:
I have had this netbook for approx. 45 days. It is Fantastic !!! I highly recommend it. The only downfall is the Battery life is about 4.5 hours max. The feel of the Chicklet keyboard is great. You can run 4 or 5 apps at the same time no problem. The size is perfect. The screen looks great.I haven't tried any games, so I can't comment on that. But I am very happy with this netbook. I like the Silver Finish far better than the black - It doesn't show fingerprints, which is the way it should be. It comes with WIN 7 premium, so that is a saving over many others ( win 7 starter is a waste of time ) This review was modfied by poster @ 03-08-10 02:41 PM

Cons: Its a netbook and its hard to read for some, I've had no issues with it so far.

Pros: HDMI out, dual core, Nvidia Ion processing, 2gb of ram, excellent!
Comment:
I have wanted to buy a netbook for quite some time but I just haven't found one with decent performance until now. I originally considered getting myself a HTPC but the idea of a portable netbook with a dual core atom processor, 2gb of ram, win7 and nvidia ion graphics for this price? I had to get it.So far I've been able to run HDMI to my 42" lcd tv with no lag, I made sure to update  to the 10.1 flash beta to take advantage of the GPU power for youtube HD flash videos and HD movie playback had no issues either. I haven't gone too far into putting any games on it really but I'm sure some starcraft and older games would run just fine. The keyboard takes a bit to get used to as some keys are not where you expect to be on a standard keyboard, but you get used to it pretty quick.Overall the silver finish is very nice and I prefer it over the Black colour which I've heard can get fingerprints quite easily. So far it hasn't lagged unless I really cranked it, but its very similar to my 3 year old laptop which has almost the same specs, dual core, 2gb ram, ati mobility videoI recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful netbook with hdmi capability, so far I've only owned it close to a week but I have not been disappointed.

Cons: trackpad takes getting used to, and it appears to be a little bit finichy at this point.

Pros: speed, look, finish, features, size, cool zoom, rotate scroll features using trackpad.

Read up on the various processors, and the Atom 330 is currently #1 for mobile computing, perhaps others may disagree, but found it on another site. all the original discussions are we documented under the same model only in black. This unit is silver, nice touch.screen is very nice at 1366x768 full hd, speaker sound is what I expected, quality is medium to low, but get over it, its a micro, more than adiquate. It came loaded with Win7 Home Premium, and a CD listed as such, also a noce touch.Bought it today so I can take on a trip, this will be the true test.Unit is quite light, and thin. Very nimble, and the keyboard is actually very comfortable, much better than I expected for a Netbook. Good job Asus.Did I mention how nice the display is, well its really sweet.Since I only plugged it in for the first time about 2 hours ago, the fan is pumping out quite a bit of heat, but it does also appear to be changing speed as required, so the fan has speed stepping. the little built in webcam has a few Auto settings, Low Light Compensation, Brightness and Exposure, not bad. The quality looks impressive for what is said to be a 03mpix.so far, so good. The price was good, just came out this Feb of 2010. For $540, price matched to $499.99, picked up same day. So NXIC, and specially Michelle on Broadway, great work on your consistent customer service. NCIX you also get a 5 out of 5.Chris G,Vancouver, BCHappy 2010 Winter Olympics Canada.
