Cons: none so far

Pros: sturdy and stronglow profile
Comment:
works great - it is what it is!Rather low profile and holds tight! What can I say ... its a 80/90 to 120mm converter

Cons: I hardly recommande place calculation before you buy. This part is bigger then you can imagine. I buy 2 of these part for my front and back ATX case, and not be able to instal the one in front because the HDD cage is too big.

Pros: This is usefull part for ATX case who dont have place for 120mm FAN.
Comment:
This is overall good part to have. When you need more fresh air in and out from the box, and you just have 80mm FAN ...Then ==> You need this !!!

Cons: Absolutely none.

Pros: Very inexpensive product.
Comment:
I wanted to increase the airflow in my computers because I believe the cooler they run the better they run. With this adapter I can convert to larger fans with three times the airflow. They come with all of the screws necessary for the conversion. I will buy more now that I see how well they work.

Cons: None.

Pros: Allows using a 120mm fan in an 80mm or 92mm mounting spot, and it's cheap.
Comment:
I got one of these to mount a 120mm fan in one of our older computers, to hopefully cut down on the noise that the 80mm fans are making, and simply because they're so cheap, I figured I'd try one out.Good things:- allows using a 120mm in places that normally wouldn't fit one.- comes with three different sized screws, to allow for a few different mounting applications.- has pre-drilled screw holes to allow replacing either an 80mm fan OR a 92mm fan.Bad things:- the only nitpicky thing I can think of, is that this adapter is maybe a bit large, i.e. it's about the same thickness(25mm) as most fans, and in some applications that might be a bit too much.... it just seems as though it could possibly have been a bit thinner.Having said that, if you want to make your computer quieter, and you have the room to mount this adapter, it's a great item to get rid of smaller, noisier fans, and replace them with 120mm fans instead.

Pros: price and it comes with screws
Comment:
i bought this to mount a 120mm fan to my case to create a negative air flow. but take note of the dimensions before you buy it to make sure your case has enough space to accomodate this.

I needed to grab this mount so that I could fit a 120mm fan onto my CoolIT Freezone, and it does the job!

Pros: Great price and even comes with screws! It worked well for my purposes.
Comment:
I'm using these on old Athlon rigs to get good airflow to heatsink at reduced noise with Antec Tricool fans. The heatsinks in use are the Thermaltake Silentboost copper. It's quite an improvement over the original fan or even the silentcat 92mm fan+adapter (which I no longer see listed).Obviously a person has to check for space, or if a case mod will create enough space.

Cons: None

Pros: Converts a 120mm fan into a 80mm fan
Comment:
It does its job and I couldn't ask for more. Installed a 120mm fan in the back of my computer rig for some extra airflow. Effective and useful. Recommend it for people who have enough space for a 120mm fan in the back if you only have a 80mm hole.

Cons: Only negative I can think of and mostly this is being picky, it would be nice if it included anti-vibration mounts which should be easy since this adaptor is the same brand as the mounts. Would also be nice if they could have made it thinner/lower profile.

Pros: All black adaptor and screws, basically a fan funnel that lets you put a larger fan on a smaller perimeter. Alternatively it can be used to put a smaller fan on a larger perimeter too. Includes screws for mounting on cpu heatsinks, and various case mounting orientations, thick screws and thin screws long ones and short ones. Packaging is a cellophane bag with a reuseable/restickable adhesive. $5 seems reasonable to me. I don't see anything cheaper at NCIX.
Comment:
The Akasa brand has only a frame/skeleton instead of a funnel so airflow is not restricted nor redirected and all airflow is simply left to surround the area. Would be nice to see how such an option performs compares to this. This is a great product, now I just need to find some 60mm->80mm units. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-26-08 08:04 AM

Cons: Included screws arn't much help.

Pros: Handy in certain situations.Cheap way to add a quieter 120mm fan in place of a noisy 80mm.Works for 80mm and 92mm fan holes.
Comment:
I did some mods in my Armor case and had to either remove my upper 92mm fan or mount it on the outside. So instead I used one of these to mount a 120mm fan on the outside. Worked like a charm and the larger fan moves much more air with lower noise. I used some fan mounting screws I had laying around because the included screws didn't work in my application. Overall this is a great product and very handy in certain situations.

Cons: none

Pros: One of a kind adapter
Comment:
One of a kind adapter that allows you to use 120mm fans in 80mm or 92mm locations, provided you have the clearance. But mostly adds airflow while keeping your computer quiet. Neat adapter.

Cons: Nothing I can think of

Pros: CheapWorks without issue
Comment:
I used this to mount a 120mm fan to a heatsink designed for 60mm fan (Athlon XP 3200 stock HSF). It's not designed for it, but it does fit 2 of the screws which is good enough for me. Computer is now much much quieter compared to the whine of the old 60mm fans and temperatures are cooler at the same time.Screws fit just barely on to the heatsink fins and it otherwise works great.

Cons: none

Pros: Nice colors and construction
Comment:
If your case has the space I highly recommend it. I attached it with a cooler master 120mm fan to an antec lanboy as a rear fan and it greatly reduced the noise compared to my old 80mm fan.

Pros: Works as described
Comment:
There's not much to say about this product except that it does what it sets out to do. I have no problems with the supplied screws for attaching any of my 120mm fans. I tried with an Antec Tricool, a Noctua NF-P12, and a Zalman ZM-F3.

Cons: The 120mm side has tiny screw holes, maybe be a hassle.

Pros: It fits most cases and fans
Comment:
Overall it's a good buy for 5 bucks. Although it did take me a little longer to actually screw in 120mm fan since the screws were not compatible, and the screws provided by the adapter were really really long. However, it is a good choice for someone who wants a 120mm on their 80mm space.

Pros: Quality construction, didn't increase case noise
Comment:
Used this to mount a 120mm S Flex fan to an 80mm mount on the side of my case. Case noise did not increase, but my temperatures went down. Great product.
