2 tuners, works fantastic with Windows Media Center, very responsive remote, and consists of software program to stream to my iphone. None so far. So I'm not certain if I just got lucky or what, but I didn't have any trouble installing the drivers for the remote. (Running Windows 7 Expert 64-bit) I was also extremely impressed by the sensitivity of the ir receiver. I can literaly point the remote in the opposite corner of the space and it nevertheless picks up the signal.I use this card primarily with Windows 7 Media Center, but I did install Hauppauge's computer software so that I could attempt out the WinTV Entend feature. This makes it possible for you to stream to a laptop more than the online or even an Iphone. I was searching into buying a slingbox ahead of, but now I no longer need it.

Dual digital signal. Operates effectively with Windows Media Center. Crystal clear image. Packaged software program. With WMC, you can only use a total of two tuners. So FM capability is useless. At least in Vista. Windows 7 is supposed to be very good for 4 tuners. One hour of ATSC programming requires about 7GB of challenging drive space, so make confident to have substantial drive.

Nice attributes on card. Dual tuner card: Tuner # 1 (which worked adequately) worked well. the Š tuner in my card had extremely poor reception. couldnt get QAM to come in on the Š tuner at all, and analog cable was incredibly fuzzy. Also had something with the remote or IR receiver incorrect. Even with various & new batteries and sitting straight in front of it, remote only worked about 1 out of each 20 button presses. Initially item of several I have bought on the internet which was defective when I received it. Not satisfied about having to pay to ship it back for the RMA.

This card is greatness. Utilizing it on the Asus/AMD systems (which is the only way to go) I am very pleased with the integration and overall results. There is so significantly application obtainable for this card! Highest top quality hardware, top-notch application, and Hauppauge is now on my list of favourite hardware suppliers Only minus is that there is only 1 connection for television. This is not a seriously huge deal as there are TWO hybrid tuners.

Pretty Box IR Blasters dont perform correctly with Windows 7 Media Center Ive worked around computers for 25 years. I have been trying to get this solution working with a new set up Windows 7 Media Center for around 12 hours. Downloaded all the most up-to-date Drivers from manufacter internet site. I am finally giving up and returning this item. both IR blasters(second blaster on daugter board) have to be plugged in to get Media Center to recognize the IR blaster. (This seems like a dilemma in itself) When I ultimately got the IR blaster configured, the blaster will not transform the channel when I am watching a different channel. Not confident if I have a lemon... but product almost made me blow my lid

Performs with Windows Media CenterDual TunerUncomplicated to set upInexpensiveI'm really happy with this card. Getting capable to watch and record reside Tv is excellent. Native capture resolution (for the s-video port only) is low. I attempted some 3rd party drivers, and other software "tricks". I couldn't discover a way around it. Don't anticipate do use this card for high resolution captures from devices that you would plug into the s-video port.Minus 1 egg for the hobbled capture. Additionally I found the card to be incompatible with other capture applications such as Vegas. From what I study this is due to the card sending the video to the Pc currently mpeg encoded.

This guy wont replace your cable box for these scrambled channels but it works just as properly hooking your Television up for basic cable.

It does what it is supposed to do, when the breakout cable stays connected. Apparently, they either ran out of driver/software cds, or the worker who was supposed to pack it was out on a smoke break when my box came down the line, simply because I didn't get one. I'd be 1 unhappy puppy if I didn't have Media Center and an world wide web connection. The 'breakout' cable incorporated with the card so that you can implement composite/svid, fits into the back of the card so loosely, that it frequently falls out on its personal. I suspect that some persons's breakout cables are as well tight, some are as well loose, and some are just appropriate. In related news, there's a micrometer shortage in China. WinTV isn't worth RMAing the entire package for, and I got the drivers from the Hauppauge website. As for the breakout cable, I guess that when I get frustrated adequate, I'll make a handful of 'adjustments' to it.

Excellent excellent, performs. Takes awhile to find/install the software you will need on 64-bit. WinTV is also a bit confusing. The IR cable is really short, and can't attain my monitor. Having to point the remote at my actual computer is type of annoying. Also the sensor is a bit spotty with the remote, I'll have to press a button two-3 occasions sometimes. I can only in fact use one particular of the tuners due to the fact of my cable box, which is disappointing. Not genuinely the tuner's fault although.

Operates effectively, fairly straightforward to figure out. iPhone has an app that controls it which works via the wifi so no ir remotes for us. My wife and I each have the app so either iPhone will control it. At times it gets glichy and you have to go "home" and navigate back to exactly where you want to be. I didn't genuinely need all the characteristics this card has. I could have gone with a less costly model and been pleased. At the time, I paid 贶.

This causes 1 to have to go via logging into the share just about every time. The menu is incredibly standard and would benice to add a lot more items like netflix and so forth.

ClearQAM/ATSC dual tuner with hardware encoder, quick channel altering, even with HD channels, additional inputs for fairly a lot whatever. I didn't try to watch any of my old VHS so not confident if they pass Macrovision or not. No CableCard assistance? The IR receiver wasn't lengthy enough for my wants so I had to extend it working with some USB cable and soldering capabilities. Nonetheless, my Computer is on the other side of a wall from my Television that I am using. About a month soon after I purchased this card my cable provider stopped sending ClearQAM, so now if I only get a couple of channels alternatively of my full line up. So if you strategy to get this for ClearQAM help on best of your current cable subscription you need to almost certainly ask your cable provider if they plan to continue ClearQAM or program to encrypt all of it and require a CableCard setup (popular brand of DVR product comes to thoughts).

The card worked great with Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. It works well, records two shows at a single time with a single more than-air antenna coax. None that I can see. Would be nice if it would offer a "awake" if pc is in hibernation or similar. My computer system is on 24ǝ due to other applications but in a Household Theater Pc create it would be nice to have that feature. Have not employed the remote, have blue tooth keyboard and mouse and functions for my layout.

Simple to set up this card and get running for HDTV over the air with Windows 7 64-bit. I utilized the present drivers from the Hauppauge web site rather than *possibly* outdated software in the box. It operates nicely with Windows Media Center and contains low profile slots for slim Pc systems. The picture quality is eggscellent ; ) The IR receiver hardly ever worked when I installed the card into the PCI x1 slot with the best physical place in my Dell Studio 540 Pc. Even right after running the utility system to choose/activate the remote, only 1 of 15 pushes on any button responded. Following exhausting all affordable selections, I moved the card to the one more obtainable x1 slot. This changed the IRQ assigned to the card, and the remote receiver now functions 3 out of 4 occasions. While mainly functional, this will generate larger difficulties if I use a Media Center IR keyboard with the receiver : ( This card design and style has been changed by the manufacturer because initial introduced. Initially it shipped with a USB Media Center receiver which worked WONDERFULLY. I removed 1 star for the intense aggravation I blame on this design adjust.

Good card with lots of adds, haven't tried all it's functions yet. In WMC functions quite well... it records. NO CD no drivers no WinTV, some buttons in RC must be bigger like the numbers and Enter. I refuse the reality of paying this cost and not getting the CD wich they sell in their net page for 9.50 and now the card is far away from the U.S.A... in Colombia.Appears that I'm not the only one with this challenge.

It performs, dual tuner is good, can get HD. As everyone has pointed out, the remote sucks. I've yet to be able to get that remote to function with Something. If anyone knows how to get that functioning, lemme know. The config utility has detected the remote, nonetheless, I nonetheless cannot manage something with it. I had to manually tune every single single digital channel. Nonetheless, I don't assume that was the card's fault so I didn't take any eggs, I feel it was much more probably a combination of Comcast's and Windows Media Center's fault.

If anybody is questioning if you are capable to connect your satellite (Direct Television, Dish Network.....etc.) through Tv coax. input yes you can. Oh and i discovered myself in a snag with Media center controller, when i attempted to use the controller nothing at all happened in media center following i did the IRconfig to let me use it with MC, but later on i discovered the issue the ir learner/irblaster wasn't plugged in all the way.
