I bought that monster mount on sale. It was a really joke to have it at 30$ I bought 4. I find it is very usefull since you have a good control of the screen. Usual cheap mounts don'T have so many options. I had evertying I needed for installation inside the box ( level + screws). I recommend you to check for sales if you can get it at that VERY low price. |

Picked up two of these wall mounts during the black friday sale. Clears up alot of desk room and brings monitors to eye height.Easy install and wire management.Will purchase another one if ever on sale again, couldn't recommend for the original price. |

Just buyed it for 25$ on surprise specials, really good support, can adjust the monitor in almost any postion. I easily rotate my screen 90degree to play Mame games and DS emulators. Installation was easy, only 2 screw to bolt in the wall. Don't forget you will have to pre-drill your wall before installation. I suggest using a ratchet if you intend to use the included powerbar, the plastic be get cracked if there too much tork, beware of Dewalt ! :P I had some hard time adjusting the screen rotation so it's not too loose and not impossible to turn. You have to unscrew the screen from the support EVERYTIME you need to adjust it so it's a pain of trial and error. The powerbar is optional is really not needed. Also your screen will always be at least 2 inch from the wall.So : Good support, but really not worth 199$. Don't buy it for the powerbar, it's really overpriced! |

I bought this during the Canada day sale for only $80. Ironically the sale price is what I would think the regular sale price would be. First of all let me say that I have no complaints about the actual mount and it's pretty adjustable in terms of swiveling your screen around. As for the power bar, I see that as just an added bonus. According to the monster cable website there is another model called the 400s which is the exact same as this except without the power bar for $80 less (at the regular retail price). I don't see how they can value the power bar so high. Monster suggests that it's some sort of a superior surge protector and actually 'cleans' the static out of your AC power, but a human being probably wouldn't even be able to notice the difference between a regular $10 surge protector and the one provided. They've used a lot of shifty advertising techniques in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if this were just some sort of fake gimmick. Their advertisements for this specific product boasts how they even include all the screws, which I wouldn't expect any less from any other product I buy and they also boast about the added bubble level which has to be worth almost nothing at most. In conclusion, at $80 you can't make too much of a complaint, although I wouldn't see anyone buying this for the full $250. |
This is the first wall mount I've owned but I love it. For the price it was on sale for it was a steal. Really nice build quality, like the cable management grooves.
