slight buzzing sound on mute, glossy finish is finger print magnet, needs batteries to work, mute button on right ear rattles a bit while walking or jogging.

had these headphones for over a year now and i am satisfied with em and would buy again.- I have tried many other noise cancelling headphones, these beats all other brands. Somehow with other noise cancelling headphones you get headache but not with these.- the builtin amp is good for low-powered mp3 players and these really juice up the music on low volume levels.- sound is crisp and clear, while watching movies the vocals are crisp.- produce a light buzzing sound when turned on (only noticeable in super quite environment when no music is playing in em).- very comfortable for hours (i use continuous 4+ hours almost everyday).- hard case is very good for travelling.- the Ilink cable (one with microphone) is not compatible with all players or cell phones.- lastly these are not overpowered on low ends at all, if you find, try playing around with equaliser. |

beats by dre, are monster's creation. having a celebrity like Dr. Dre being a partner helps you sell. these headphones are going to be known as a brand that u must have like iPod, iPhone, etc.if u can, grab a pair while they're on sale.. if u love music that much. they are worth it. |

I've tested these headphones alongside a $100 pair of Sony's and they are comparable, and compared with Seinnheiser HD 437 at $50 or HD 435's at $100 have a much higher sound quality. If you're looking for overpriced fancy looking headphones go ahead and buy these, but you are giving up sound qaulity big time! But if you don't listen to high def audio or even mp3's less than 256 kbs it doesn't make a difference. |
The headphones are quite good. they provide fantastic sound output and are just great and def worth having. The price however is quite steep and given their lack of durability are a questionable buy at most. The best part of them is the sound and look. They are stylish and functional but def not practical. On top of that you really have to be delicate with them. The headband is known to snap right above the connector. Same thing happened with mine. About 1 year after purchase ( warranty was over) they snapped about half way up the headpeice and tbh, given the price thats disappointing. There are a number of viable options that in my opinion are better.
