I purchased these headphones for $70 (on sale) early 2011.The cord is very flexible and SUPER tough, I have snagged it several times (a few of which were pretty bad) and no sign of wear, or lessend sound quality.I feel at $140 These headphones are overpriced. While they are durrable and sound 'decent' I think they only deserve a regular price of between $80 - $110 based on the sound quality. At $50 (sale price at time of writing this) I give them two big thumbs up.
