Cons: not a beginners mobo, needs a bit of tweaking, running 8GB of ram on this mobo is a task.

Pros: Overclocks like a champ, DDR3, tri-sli, got it VERY cheap with bundle deal
Comment:
Had this mobo for 6 months now so I am comfortable with it. It wasn't so smooth in the beginning, but after I got things figured out, it OC's like a champ. The biggest issue I had with this mobo is that I could not get 8GB of 1600 ram to run at its stock timings (7-7-7-20). 4GB worked just fine. I also like the fact that the pci-e 16x slots are numbered 1-3-2 (from the top, unlike my x58 sli) this allows you to have space for air flow between 2 cards in sli. At the end of the day I would have to say this mobo gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the 8GB issue. Othere than that, this is probably the last great 775 mobo.

Cons: Install a q9550 processor. Had everything on auto and was getting constant blue screen scrashed. Updated the bios and figured it was a memory problem or sli problem. Seems the auto function was giving the cpu to many volts and the memory not enough. Fixed the settings and all is well.

Pros: Easy board to install.
Comment:
Great board. Not a good starter board for those who have no idea as to bios settings. Book is vague on settings and the website for evga is alright but not helpfull on problems that arise. And make sure you do your measuring on the size of the cpu fan as the room is limited. Also you might want to buy a 4 pin cpu fan. I didnt realize it was 4 pin untill after I opened the cpu fan box. 3 pin will work but my speed sensing doesnt.

Cons: - needs a good cooling solution- Driver support is lacking due to x58 release

Pros: - Lots of features- One of the most overclocking friendly boards out there
Comment:
Likely the last, best, OC friendly board out there for LGA 775. Can have issues though. Can run hot and needs decent ventilation. Populating all 4 DIMMs should be avoided unless you want to prop up voltages, which you will already be doing if you are running and OCing some high speed DDR3 RAM. I had to do this while running the Aeneon Xtune DDR3-1866 RAM that came with the one bundle. (even though the RAM says it will work at stock speeds at 1.5v - my board would boot up the RAM at 1333) Still a great price for the package though.Driver support could be a little better, but Evga says they have not abandoned the platform.Layout is great. heatsink area is clutter free and should accept any of the behemoth coolers on the market. The CPU power outlet is in a bad spot though. Would recommend using an extension if you want to keep wires out of the way. Lots of fan headers and SATA ports, though use ports 1 and 2 for CD/DVD devices - my experience gave me a little hiccup when trying to use the red SATA port.
