Cons: Had issues with driversNot very sturdy

Pros: Works greatUSB interface
Comment:
Got it installed after a few driver issues but working fine once installed. Kind of flimsy plastic but its cheap for a tuner so I cant complain.

Cons: uses a lot of CPU power

Pros: small, easy setup
Comment:
I use this on a Pentium M 1.6GHz Centrino with 64MB ATI Mobility 9000 circa 2004. When the TV is running, it uses 90% CPU, so the laptop gets hot.

Cons: Picture quality could be better, it's only analog non-hidef

Pros: Cheap, USB, portable, decent quality
Comment:
Good portable analog 720x480 tuner. This is actually the WinTV-USB2-FM item. Bundled software works most of the time, but it'll freeze your comp from time to time when you start it; Win7 Media Centre works well with it.Quality wise, it's okay for the price (especially if it's $20 on sale). Videos from MC7 are okay; using Hauppauge software you might get some horizontal bands from time to time, but I haven't fidgeted around with the settings to see if I can remove them.

Cons: gets a little warm and analog signals are disappearing soon

Pros: record tv, 16 channels appearing at once
Comment:
This thing does what it says. Good for very simple and easy use. I bought it just to record a couple of hockey games I did not want to miss.

Cons: -Mediocre picture quality-Bundled software is useless

Pros: -Cheap when on sale
Comment:
I managed to get this tuner working fine on Win 7 MC. No luck XP MC however. The included software semi-works - I managed to record a small clip once before the program crashed and started throwing random errors. Recording and playback in Win 7 MC is flawless. Picture quality isn't the greatest, but given the price that is to be expected. I have noticed this tuner gives me more "Recording cancelled due to copyright..." messages than my other tuner (a Haupage PCI card in my desktop) when recording in MC. I can have both tuners set to record the same program and only the WINTV-USB will fail due to copyright error. Other than that, it works well. Just don't expect amazing picture quality.

Cons: Runs Hot, Not Best PQ, Needs a good usb port

Pros: Small and Does the Job
Comment:
It's ok. For quality you must pay for a better internal tuner card, but when a USB one must due, this one is ok. works with W7 if you hunt for the drivers. It's packaged well and comes with the appropriate cables. Other reviews are accurate. If using with PC, use a motherboard connected USB port!

Cons: Poor picture quality on some channels with Windows 7 MCE.

Pros: USB. No need to open case to install.
Comment:
I bought this to add another tuner to my HTPC only to find that I had poor picture quality on about 10 channels of the 55 I receieve. I think there is a problem with MCE and usb analog tuners as I had the same problem with a couple of ATI based Diamond tuners. Go for an internal tuner if you're going to be using it with Windows 7 MCE

Cons: Jerky audio when listening to radio

Pros: Small, on sale, just plug into USB port so easy to set up
Comment:
I bought this because I didn't want to turn on the A/V receiver just to listen to the radio (Shaw coaxial cable), and also I wanted the FM audio to come through the 5.1 PC speakers. I have it set up with Windows Media Center and it works pretty well except the audio quality is not the greatest even when I have Sonic Focus enabled in SoundMax.

Cons: Depends on CPU/GPU to do most of the rendering

Pros: Compact and inexpensive when it is on sale
Comment:
This is the newer, simpler and cheaper version of Hauppauge WINTV-USB-FM. There is no separate connection for FM reception. Also, sound data must always goes over USB. A Core 2 Duo or better system is highly recommended if you insist on enabling all the extra features such as PVR and pausing live TV. A reserved USB 2.0 connection may be helpful, too.A Conexant CX24228 seems to be inside this product. Of course, the supplied software will not let you watch ATSC or QAM stuffs.

Cons: Analog only/no digitalgets hotslow channel change

Pros: CompactWorks with Windows 7Inexpensive
Comment:
I purchased this USB TV Tuner last month to plug into my dorm digital cable box. This TV-tuner works perfectly with windows 7. However you need to download drivers from the singapore website to get it to work on windows 7. If left plugged in the tv-tuner gets hot. Changing the channels on this tv-tuner using windows media center is fairly slow. This TV-tuner is great for converting a laptop into an analog TV.
