Cons: Dual slot. It's so popular it's hard to find (since reviews showed that two of these beat out more expensive cards.)
Pros: Fair Price. Very Good Performance. Provides the possibility to upgrade to a pretty sweet yet affordable Crossfire config when more cash comes in. Comment:
Bought this a few weeks ago when I decided I couldn't postpone upgrading any longer (Had HD3200 graphics). Made a huge difference in performance as expected, but I am very pleased to be able to play new games on a 24" screen at good resolutions and have it be smooth sailing (even with my second monitor on so i can see if I get any important e-mails). Very pleased with this purchase. I was a little surprised to find it's a dual slot card, but for me it covers an unused PCIe 1x slot, so no biggy.I'll give it 5 stars in it's price range. |
Have not been disappointed with this card. Can play games 1600x1200 resolution with no problems. The price was reasonable when i picked it up. The cooling system seems to work well (much better than my ATI X1950 Pro that it is replacing)
