easy install but don't use it with a 300 watt power supply. It needed more though that is the card's low end requirements. Then to most computers need 500 or better to handle decent upgrades. |

Upgraded from Windows XP to Vista and needed a better graphics card. This one was exactly what I needed. I'm not a gamer; just use the PC for personal business & internet. We also upgraded our old CRT monitor to an LCD with DVI, so this was perfect! |

I recently purchased this video card because I am an avid Sims player and when I bought The Sims 3, it said that I needed pixel shader 2.0 or better. I choose this particular card because of the value and because of it having the shader 3.0. I couldn't have choosen a better video card!! The graphics are phenominal and it even improved the graphics for World of Warcraft..which I didn't think was possible! If you are looking for an awesome card that gives great graphics without breaking your budget, then I strongly recommend this video card! :D |

I purchased this card to have on-hand to provide DVI output for any computer I bring in to my work area since I have DVI KVM switch. I picked this one because it's PCI and this way I don't have to pull out any AGP card that may be there, and will work in pretty much any system. My experience has been great. I've put it in at least 3 computers so far, and have not had to install a drive for any of them. The card works great. Granted, I'm not using it for gaming or even watching video, but it handily does the job I need it to! |

I did not know anything about video cards. I only wanted a upgrade to dual Monitor display. I purchase this card, power supply, and Monitor. I am very happy with all purchases. The cd that is package with this video card have outdated drivers. I downloaded the updated drives from EVGA GeForce website. Connected the monitors to this video card, went to my Display Property - (setting) to manage which monitors is primary and secondary, then went to the NVDIA Control Panel to setup the video card graphics and display. Everything is working just fine for two weeks with no problems. I love the dual monitor suppport. |
Most people will buy this to replace an old pci or agp card that died. It's expensive for what it's worth, costing twice as much as it should.256mb is somewhat overkill for a 6200 in my opinion, even 128, if there had been a 64mb version I'd bought that one for a even cheaper replacement.
