Easy inststallation on 9 year old Dell 4100. Looked at other wed sites and this site had best info to make correct choice. |

This type of RAM is getting harder and harder to find. This is the place to find everything needed to keep my old computer up and running. |

Internet loading was a dog and crashed regularly on an old PC running Win ME. With (2) 256 chips added, internet loads fast and no more crashes. Definitely worth it if you want to keep an old PC going for a while longer. |

Used this to max-out memory in an old computer for a non-tech friend. Worked perfectly. No need to pay extra for name brand when the entire CPU will be replaced soon, and this RAM stick is too outdated for transfer to a newer computer when she gets one later. Would buy again. |

Got an old gateway computer running windows 98 on a 5 gig hard drive, less than 126 mb of ram. Upgraded the hard drive to a 40 gig, the ram to 512 mb using two of these memory sticks and it runs great. Easy to install, computer had no problem reading it. |

My daughter received and old DIY PC with XP on it. She only had 128mb of ram so I added another 128mb stick and purchased this 256mb stick to give it 512mb total. I am happy with the performance and will purchase more of these in the future for my customers. Thanks Tiger for helping to keep older PC's alive! |

I gave this item 3 stars for quality because CENTON didn't bother to put basic specs on their website or even on the packaging. As it turns out this memory didn't work with my DELL Dimension 4100. It worked wonderfully though in another machine and I put the other machine's memory into the DELL. Older DELL machines are not flexible with regard to memory performance, if the memory isn't CL3 it won't work. |

Though it looks like a great product it couldn't work with Dell Dimension 4100. Call Centon tech, which were helpful but they noted they had issues with Dell & HP. I even updated the FlashBios to the most current config. but to no avail. To bad - great price. |
It's working as it should
