Overall this is a great printer. Setup was very easy, connected it to my network and I can print to it from Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and even Mac OS 9. It's fast, quiet and the print and colour quality are outstanding (far better than I expected from a $150 printer). It prints double sided without issue.The only real downside is the cost of the toner, a full replacement set of tones (four colours) cost more than a new printer which comes with a full set of toners. The lack of WIFI may be an issue but it isn't an issue for me because I could just plug it into my hub.I would have given it 4 and a half stars if that was an option, it's almost perfect. It would get five if the toner was cheaper.Look into third party toner refills. |

Picked up on sale from ncix. Hard to argue with a color laser for $150. The network was simple to setup, easy to add to all my computers. Duplex is a great feature for double sided. Black toner is slightly more expensive per page than my lexmark black laser.My only complaint is the toner cartridges install from above like you would on an inkjet. When removing them/installing them, toner can fall out of the dispensing hole. Laser toner makes a mess. |

Cons: A bit noisy for home use during a print job. No problem with that in a small office or business environment.
Pros: Linux/CUPS operation is perfect. I attached it by USB to the CUPS server and it was recognized instantly, then CUPS configuration was easy. Works perfectly. Now all Mac, Linux, Windows, Android, and other clients print to it excellently and the quality is superb. For iPad/iPhone support I run Avahi on top of CUPS and have installed AirPrint on the Apple devices from the App store. This printer stays on 24/7 and is silent when not printing, and its LCD status display goes to sleep so that only a single green LCD power light stays illuminated at all times. Comment:
Top notch support under Linux (there is even a Linux penguin logo on the box) and CUPS operates it perfectly, including all its features. The software on the included CD was not needed. Note that this printer does not send toner level data in case that is important to you, but it isn't for me. |

All in all this is a steal at this price point. You get many features that would cost at least a couple of hundred dollars more in competing models. Setup and use has been straight forward. Use has been a pleasure. Manufacturer was able to assist in an efficient and helpful manner when I wished to order additional accessories. |

Hi,This is my first laser printer. It's loud but don't know if it's any louder than any other laser printer. Got it for it's fast colour printing. Used for personal printing & kid's school reports, at this rate, toner cartridges will last forever. Still use the multifunction inkjet for scanning documents. |

Got this on sale and for the price, it is a great network duplex printer. Works right out of the box, and was easily detected over the network. Installing the software that comes with the CD is unnecessary. |

I got this at a great sale price, it's very simple to use, set up was very easy. It prints fast, with bright crisp colours and is very easy to load. It's a pretty heavy unit so shipping can be a little pricey. |

Purchased 4, well worth the value. Running a month now, the staff are very happy with their new colour laser.These seem to come with a standard toner, not the half-size starter toner that many printers come with now adays. |

Overall it seems quite nice. Print quality so far has been very nice apart from oranges coming out grainy. Not sure what the cause of that is yet. Small problem however given the price (when on sale) and all the features. Automatic duplex is very nice. |
For the price, this is a great machine. Been using it at an office with about 2k page/monthly usage rate with no problem. Start-up time and picture quality is great too.
