The price is great but the physical size on 1 of the sticks was off enough that it didn't snap in well. Works as expected. Tried overclocking it just a hair and got errors within seconds of starting windows though. Switched it back to the normal voltage and it worked ok. Buy for budget, skip for overclockers.

I installed a pair of these cards and left the two original ones (1 GB) installed. The resultant 3 GB has made a world of difference in performance. I have had these cards installed only two weeks and so far they have not given me any problems. I am happy with what i got for the price.

Not a bad word word to say about this deal. Never heard of Centon before, but Tiger rep suggested I give it a try on a budget motivated build. Bought 2048 mb for a great price and installed it (with some hesitation) without a hitch. ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. Just went back for another stick. WORKS GREAT!! THANK YOU TIGER DIRECT!!! KEEP IT COMING.

This is PC5300 memory not PC5400. It worked fine by itself but did not mix with the existing PC5400 memory already installed on my PC. Not sure of the differences between the 2 but I am sure they do not intermix on my Intel MOBO. It was labeled PC 5400 in the write up but it was PC5300 marked on the chips and again did not intermix with my old memory so I retired the old memory. Good deal as I still doubled my memory and could see an immediate improvement in graphics speeds and memory intense programs like MS flight simulator X. Tiger Direct still has the best selections when its time to upgrade your PC.

I've used Centon memory in previous builds and in my recent low-power (e1200) home server build. I've yet to have any problems with the memory. I've not tried to overclock it - it's just been stock install; not sure how well it handles overclocking. But, for stock, works as expected. Sturdy DDR2 chip - didn't feel flimsy at all and didn't bend or flake when putting it into the slot.

I've been buying these for all of my budget builds, and they work great for general office use. Obviously they're not the first choice for gaming, but are a solid buy for simple systems.

We figured we could save a few dollars by buying cheap Centon memory. A HUGE mistake. After installation and 3 weeks of frustration, time-consuming and expensive local technical support we found that the memory is defective and worthless. Save yourself the hassle and stick with well-known parts companies with good reputations.

Looked around for memory, got this memory. Thought about getting 4 GB but didn't want to spend the extra $50 to get it. Good memory, easy to install. trackable shipping. Boosted my RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB. Easy to install.

Have used Centon memory many times and never a problem. Bought a new mb and needed 2g of dual channel memory at 667. Was on a tight budget and this was by far the cheapest memory i could find. Its gone back up now though. Tiger shipping fast as usual. New system working great.
