Centon 2GB MP3 Player w/Voice Recorder

for someone that doesn't care about screen. Husband wanted small, cheap mp3 player that was easy to use and that wouldn't mind his big finger errors. He got exactly what he wanted in this player. Very easy to load and use. And at a terrific bargain price too.

Gave away one of these and a 4 gig for xmas. Neither survived until the 28th.

My brother is thrilled with this product. It helps him join the 21st century. I've used the old 1gb version of this player at work with Skullcandies for the last year with no issues. The software is now new and improved. Simple interface, operation, battery lasts 10 hours or so. Couldn't ask for more.

This player does not come with a manual. I did eventually find a manual on the product website. However, it was written by someone whose first language is not English. I needed a small voice recorder, but this one is very difficult to use.

This works just fine for my needs. Actually my wife's needs. Simple, I don't need to provide technical support for her to use it and it just works. I couldn't be happier.

I realize this was very inexpensive but the first one I received turned off every time that I plugged headphones into or if it bumped just slightly it turns off. The replacement that I received turns off at the slightest bump also.

Works great. Voice recorder is pretty good for this price. Power consumption is a little higher (keep extra baterries always) and player is noisy when conneced with car devices for on the road listening.

We bought 50 of these MP3 players and loaded with the New Testament an gave them away to people in the church. People love it. Many feautures yet easy to use, even the 80 year Old Lady that sits in the front raw has it and can use it. Good looking top quality product. All you need is included. I am going to buy some more after I write this review!

Works great and is easy to use. Has plenty of features and storage for this low price. Has fast forward and rewind and easy click to next track or back to previous track etc. Screen is bright. I would like the screen to be bigger but you can still easily see your song tracks and their titles. Again for this price it is a bargain.

Bought for my 7-yo son who has a tendency to drop and break things. After 2 months, the player has continued to work and I am satisfied that it does what I would expect a $15 mp3 player to do. Biggest complaint is the battery life, which is absurdly short. I would guess 2 hours of play time at most per battery. There are no moving parts, so I have no idea what's draining the battery down. A good, inexpensive mp3 player as long as you have stock in a battery company.

I had mine for 8 months, I played it everyday at work. The player does not liked to be bumped or dropped as it will shut off and if you drop it it will crack the glass view screen. There is no way to clip it to anything or put it in your pocket (the headphone cord is too short). It eats up batteries so you better buy rechargable batteries. Mine was no good after the toggle switch for the volume control broke. Its not bad for the price.

Even the cheapest little jumpdrive-style MP3 players I've had before allow you to navigate by artist and album. This player just displays stuff in the order files were copied to it, totally ignoring ID3 tags. I was trying to load up a batch of these for Bible students with some free audio Bible MP3s, the books got all out of order. I'm having to reload one book at a time, instead of drag-and-drop the whole folder of Bible audio. Cannot recommend.

The price is exceptionally good but the product worked less than a day. I recognize that there is a warranty and that I could return it, however, the time necessary to box it up - get a return authorization and go to the post office or UPS to return it is not worth the price that I paid for product. I needed a working product NOW so I just threw it away and went to a retail store. Must rate quality as very poor.

This is a generic wholesale MP3 player from China that is retailed by a few brands. I have had 3 of these, a 512mb and 2 2gb's. These are possibly my favorite player of all time. they take a good physical pounding and have one interesting feature, an option to speed up or slow down playback. While it is not useful to many people it can be amusing. You would be surprised to learn that the Ramones sound a lot like the Beach Boys if you slow them down about 10%. :) I also found the FM receiver had better than average reception.

This MP3 player is probably the easiest one on the market to use and enjoy. No special software, no worries about charging through a USB port. One AAA battery is all one needs and music or other audio files are easily moved from desktop to player. It has large capacity for my use; running, airplane trips, etc.

My 10-year-old has no trouble using it. Easy to set up and use the menus. Controls well laid-out. Direct plugin to USB is nice. I used a nylon wire-tie epoxied to the player and the cap to keep the cap from getting lost. Nice value for the money.

i have had one now for over a year.CON When it gets damp player shorts out, cheap buttons. PROS change aaa battery on the spot. most important when listening to hour long pod cast player can be paused and turned off and still retain track position. same with low battery shut off.

I am thoroughly impressed. When I lost my ipod shuffle I didn't want to spend big bucks on another mp3 player. for 15 bucks, this is a bargain.

You get what you pay for, I've had mine for about a year and a half and it works fine. I must say it is durable because I've dropped it while walking & running numerous times and its still ticking.
