This is a great hard drive. One of the best I have purchased in a while. It works fast, doesn't heat up too much. It also runs quietly due to no fan. The best part of the external is that it contains a samsung hdd inside which are known to be reliable and good quality. |

I bought this drive to use with my WD Media player and backup important data, photos, etc. I love it's simplicity and the way it integrates with my audio, video equipment...looks great. Like the ON/OFF rear switch, very useful, and the blue light below the unit looks great. The drive works well and access speeds are reasonable, I use a wireless USB device to connect with my PC. All in all a good buy from Tiger Direct, a simple elegant & functional drive. |

Purchased this drive 6 weeks ago, received it in 2 two days, it was easy to setup, they improved the power cord from previous models so it doesn't fall out so easy. Its been working great, I use it for 25GB data backups nightly. With this drive I can keep 6-7 weeks of backups easy! |

Great price for a 1TB hard drive (twice as much storage as my main drive). For the looks, its excellent with the blue led which acts like a hdd activity light. Decently fast transfers. One issue is no matter what surface i place the hard drive on, it reverberates through the surface which gets annoying.BTW, samsung hd103uj hard drive which already retails for 150 at ncix |
