My wife and I have been waiting for the release of this product since it was announced in a Vancouver Sun article and have been very happy with it; it also supports DivX 6.x!We have used it on different TVs at home and in hotels; we are able to show others pictures we have taken on our D-SLR camera, or watch videos. You can choose between 480, 720, or 1080p upscaling formats as well as 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios and we woud have to recommend bringing the included HDMI cable around for best results.Three weeks in, we are a very happy customer, as it has not only allowed us to share photos on any TV (with the included coposite cable), but also watch videos we can rip off DVDs, so we don't have to carry around all of the DVDs when we travel.Oh, there is a whirring sound from the drive at all times, so I am not entirely certain it is fanless. In addition, because we travel often, we wish there were some sort of protective carrying case for the product, as we currently pack the drive in the retail box every time right now.
