I am using this drive for audio recording through the esata connection. Worked great this past weekend as our band recorded 16 tracks of live audio for 3 sets at 48 Khz 24 bit. I tested the drive with 32 tracks at 96 Khz 24 bit and it worked fine. The drive is barely audible when running.
