I was looking to move files from a bunch of smaller, older, slower HDs and found this one on sale. LaCie makes great products. A little wary though of the Seagate drive in it (have seen a few bad drives from them). A nice drive overall. |

Kudos to NCIX for the price and the speed of delivery. Was kind of disappointed at first because we thought the unit was to be much more compact. It is a rugged little HD, very fast, and the desktop manager is handy. The only hitch was the installation of the setup manager failed, and we had to google for instructions on the Microsoft site. |

love this external, the only down side is whenever I safely removed and unplug the USB, the drive is making a 1 or 2 second squeaky beep sound, the drive works without an issue, let me know if any of you guys are having the same issue with this drive. thanks! |

Pros: Quiet, fast, minimalist design Comment:
Good drive that transfers files fast. Not too sure about the bundled software as I use Chronosync as a backup program. It's quiet which I like and the rubber strips on the bottom prevent any vibration from the drive spinning up from making any noise through the case. |

Good USB 3 drive, large 3TB capacity and very fast, over 100MB/s alot of the time. The blue LED on the back isn't super bright like other LED's.
