Cons: Poor PC scanning interface.

Pros: Price. Auto Document Feeder.
Comment:
While no race horse, this multi-function does as advertised. It prints, scans, and copies. Default colour hues are a little off, but that can be adjusted. If you want quality photos head over to Blacks. This machine shines in the scanner, especially with the auto document feeder. Scan directly to USB drive in PDF format or import on the PC. My office is much cleaner and documents are easier to find. I like how the printer folds up when not in use.

Cons: - Harsh noises sometimes- Loud scanning- Screen is hard to read

Pros: - Looks Good- Folds up nicely- Fast- Functional- Excellent Price- Smooth ADF
Comment:
I have been using a CanoScan LiDE 70 for years and it has performed flawlessly. However, recently I've been needing to scan several pages at a time, and lifting the cover, change the sheet and pressing scan was getting tiring. I just happened to see this little gem for $40 on sale and snapped it up. The ADF scanner is much faster than doing every page manually, and sounds nicer than the flatbed while scanning. What I hate about other multifunction devices is how trays always stick out when they're not being used, adding a risk of accidentally walking into them, etc. The MX320 solves this issue as all trays (even the top) fold in nicely to keep them safe and keep the dust out. Setup was very easy - choose language and insert  the cartridges. The software installed automatically on my Vista x86 laptop and it functions well. My only issue is that compared to the CanoScan LiDE 70, this is extremely loud when scanning. It sounds like a track is broken, even when it's brand new. Scans are fast and clear, but it is definitely something that you will notice. Note that using the ADF results in a much more pleasant noise as the scanning head doesn't have to move at all. I'm deducting a star for this and other harsh noises it makes sometimes. This is my third canon scanner in the last decade and I've never had a problem with any of them. Hopefully this trend continues.

Cons: - Expensive ink cartridges

Pros: - Inexpensive, can be found on sale for under $50- Plug and play in Windows 7- Multi-function
Comment:
For the price I paid, this is a great buy. The only downside of this printer is the price of the ink cartridges -- PG210 and CL211 are both over $20 per piece. My advice is to get the 'XL' versions of the cartridges, they have more ink for a few dollars more.Quality wise, the printer/scanner/fax is all adequate. I recommend this multifunction printer for users that occasionally need to print out or scan notes, or written documents.
