Cons: not usb3 and it the required power adapter makes it less portable.

I've had this hard drive almost a year now and I have never had any problems with it. Its surprisingly durable; just last month I tripped on the power cable and the whole thing went flying across the room and there have been no issues. transfer speed on my laptop is usually around 35 - 40 mb/s
