Two various MoBo's detected this RAM (both P45 chipset), but neither detected the timings properly. No prob, I just set the timings manually and the RAM functions fine. No errors kind of lame that I had to set timings manually, but not a massive deal. Because I didn't want to fork over the $$$ for a 1600FSB processor, I am only operating this RAM at 1333Mhz, but it functions like a champ! Study toms hardware about ddr3. This stuff is cheap and outperforms a lot more high priced brands! |

Good for gaming, running most recent games flawlessly with 4gb. Virtual drives and servers, no issues. No challenges as of yet. |

Wonderful for my 790o ultra good for gaming and fantastic for method builders, i was sceptical at 1st but soon after reading the toms hardware evaluation of ddr3 memory they say less expensive is far better and i have to inform you these out beat any high finish ddr3 modules out that are close in range these worked excellent appropriate out of the box! None Just awsome memory for the cost fantastic overclocking capabilities |

Operates wonderful no heating matters aand performance functions great has portion of my gaming machine. Tell able to run fallout 3 at ultra higher with only 4gb. 5Ǜ Absolutely nothing |

its nonetheless operating my pc even tho its junk??? if that counts as a pro... ram rated for 1600mhz. following one particular day of use, i couldnt quit receiving BSOD and freezing, even prior to windows loading screen, which lead me to hardware failure. took it out to get checked out, discovered out ram is only stable at 541Mhz). so it had to be DECLOCKED from factory BIOS to run. horrible. By what ive observed in reviews on any item, alot of points from newegg come dead. My guess is i just got a negative batch, so im going to order another set of this ram to retain me up and operating(if its excellent) whilst i RMA this set for replacement. |

It works at 1333mhz I don't have a spare to replace these if i were to ship them back so i guess i'll retain them, but purchasers beware wintec should have whipped up a negative batch. |

This item worked wonderful out of teh box and actully if you are a enormous computer gamer or even enjoy buildign sytems im positive you knwo toms ahrdware if you read the evaluation about ddr3 you will see what im talking about anyway these modules are awesome and i cant belive it but the yare up to par with the higest finish of modules. I actully wouldnt ask for beter ddr3 1600, works great on my 790 i ultra None ddr3 less costly the greater there is absolutely nothing that can beat this unless you use the 2000mhz and who the hell ahs a procesor that quickly |

Decent searching. 1 stick was negative and would keep the system from posting. Other stick worked but only at 1333 9-9-9. Just sent them back for a rebate and bought some Corsair XMS. On my method they run the similar speed this ram was supposed to, 8-8-8 1600mhz, even though their timings are rated slower and it is an 8gb kit. |

Extremely low cost.This item was part of a front page deal and arrived with a totally free two.5" external drive enclosure. Only for pros, and users with a extremely adjustable BIOS.No matter how significantly tweaking I did with the bios settings, I couldn't get stable operation from the memory, About the 1600MHz range, latencies were off, but the ram appears to operate just fine when correctly set at 1333. I'm still a small disappointed that I couldn't get the modules to their prospective. I knew this was over-clocked ram, and knew it wouldn't automatically run at 1600MHz. That is the reason this ram is not detected as 1600 Frequency by your BIOS.I'm past the 30 Day refund policy, so Newegg could only offer me a replacement, I may just maintain them at 1333. |
Inexpensive, see other thoughts See other thoughts I wouldn't advise this ram to any person. Purchased 2 sets so far and RMA'd each every time. Poor ram everytime. 1st time 1 of the sticks was so undesirable the program would not even boot up to bios, other stick was functional. 2nd set would only run at 1333mhz and extremely unstable a that. Windows explorer consistently crashed. Applications would crash upon opening them.The ram seems to be constructed properly but definitely isn't tested properly by the manufacturer.
