This printer doesn't work at all. Currently contacting the support for manufacturer! Doesn't support letter paper on the base settings. So have to do custom settings, why? Drivers not efficient! If you want a laser printer, take anything else. I'm waiting the answer from the manufacturer, and if they are not helping, I'll buy another laser printer and put this one at trash. |

The OKI I bought for a staff member has started sucking up too many pages (10 or more) from the paper tray and jams the printer. Also, during startup, the colour toners will rotate and jam within the machine creating a horrendous clicking noise. Need to call up manufacturer to warranty grrr. |

I bought this as a cheap replacement to my Injet printer. I only print every now and then and I was sick of my injet drying up it's ink even when I don't use it. For $69 this seemed like a steal for a colour laser printer. When I recieved it I was suprised by how heavy this printer was. I didn't notice the weight in the specifications, but this printer is over 30 lbs! My injet sits on a little shelf over my monitor, but this printer would crush that shelf! I have to put in on the floor which is not ideal for me.Setting up the printer was a little difficult as right when I turned it on, the Attention light was blinking. You can't really tell what is wrong by the lights on the printer, but the CD came with a Remote Panel Utility that talks to the printer and gives you a detailed status as to what's going on. The problem is that I could not get this utility to open on My Win 7 64 bit computer. I eventually fixed it by running the Remote Panel utility in Win XP Compatibility mode, and then it worked fine. Found out the problem and now the printer is working properly. The OKI website did not have an updated version of this utility.Even though this printer is very cheap, I'm told that the Toner replacement cartridges are very expensive. (It comes with a starter cartridge rated at 500 pages). I found some toner refil kits on ebay for this printer, so I'll try that when the time comes. |

Cons: - Pictures and photos do not look as as good as an inkjet. I don't think this is because of the printer but inkjet will always be more superior for photo printing - Toner is so expensive it would be cheaper to toss the printer away and buy a new one.

The toner lasts a lot longer over ink in an inkjet printer. That being said toner for this printer is very expensive, one toner costs more then the printer. You can however find websites that sell toner refills for all colors that cost the price for 1 new toner cartridge. If you do refill the printer yourself it would make it a very cheap, decent color printer to use and own. |

I price matched it to lower than 70 so it's a very good deal. I downloaded the driver from the Oki website, didn't use the CD. It didn't come with USB cable, just the power cable. Color prints look very good. |

Very nice colour laser printer. Got it on sale for $88! Can't go wrong with a $88 colour laser printer. Colours are nice and sharp. For home/student use, it's more than enough. The toner should last us at least 2 yrs. |

I really like this printer, for the price this is a steal, prints fast in full color, amazing quality and bright colors, the trusty ol inkjet (that I kept because it was a 5in1 type) is good for day to day stuff where I can wait, but when I need to print and go, the jobs get sent to this printer.Cost is more per page for full color, but its very quick, and it really gives the deskop publishing feel to it as it can hold more sheets then my injet and process multiple jobs quickly.High recommend to anyone looking for a inexpensive laser printer that does not cut corners in operability and build quality. |
