Laptop memory, lots of it
Cons: NONE that i can think of.
Pros: Used this for a computer job. The laptop manufacturer incorrectly stated the max amount of memory the model supported. It was really only 2 GB.But i was able to use one of these in that system and another one of these in another job. |

Certainly a very good memory BUT doesn't work with a Macbook santa Rosa, despite what you could read on certain forums. Actually one could work with the original other one (the memory system is locked to 667mhz like that), but as soon the two are installed, the dual channel (who asked for the fully power 800mhz) doesn't allowed the system to work, despite the FSB 800. So be carefull !!!! |

Painless upgrade
Cons: None whatsoever.
Pros: Easy installation. Great price. Makes my Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921 work better with multiple windows open. It recognizes all 4GB.I thought the processor was relatively slow, it's not now that there is adequate RAM to run. My Toshiba shares RAM with video. It's good to have enough. Great for 24" Aluminum iMac
Cons: One of the sticks was dislodged from its place in the plastic container, which may have caused problems while shifting around during an even longer transit time, which leads me to...
Pros: Switching from the stock 2GB to 4GB was literally a 'snap' with this kit. Took probably 5 minutes to install and the system booted perfectly. I work with a lot of music and graphic applications so I'm already noticing a great speed improvement. Recommended for anyone interested in upgrading their own iMac. Comment:
HORRIBLE 'Egg Saver' 3-7 day shipping. Your order will get sent via DHL and then abandoned with USPS. Who knew that the tracking number worked on the USPS site... spent 40 minutes waiting in queue for a customer service rep to tell me this. Even so, my order was shipped 12/27 and arrived on 1/7. 12 days total. Do yourself a favor and pay for better shipping or shop elsewhere. |

Definitely double-check the laptop mfg for maximum supported amount. Most modern ones use at least 4 now.
