Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 - Retail

When I first installed this, it was pretty hard to get used to the keyboard layout and shape of the mouse. After a week I was pretty comfortable with this wireless desktop. The mouse as mentioned above is kind of heavy, so if you like light mouses, replace the mouse. As for the keyboard, this thing has the softest keys; I can effortlessly type with my fingers. It also has a good palm rest at the bottom. As for battery life, it's only been a month and both devices are still filling max battery life bars. Keep in mind I use this a lot everyday since I do a lot of coding and designing for school work. My only other complaint is this thing needs a battery indicator for the system tray, similar to the battery levels for laptops. I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to get office work done. For gaming, don't bother with using this mouse for gaming because of it's weird shape and heaviness. The keyboard though, is fine for games.

I converted back to my old keyboard and mouse. The delay the keyboard took to react to pressing the correct keys was brutal in online games. As another reviewer stated, this keyboard is not for the gamer.!!! and they are absolutely right. I lost more than 10 games before I just gave up on the keyboard.

Bought it on sale. I use it on a secondary computer and don't have any real complaints. I wouln't pay full price as I believe there are better models for the retail price, but on sale, I highly suggest it.

Bought this as a desktop set for a coworker. She loves the wireless capability. This works great for an office computer but the large transceiver is a tad unsightly. Not that big of a deal though.

This is a decent combo if it is on sale. The keyboard is not for gaming but it is comfortable for someone doing word processing or a lot of data entries.My biggest problem I have is the mouse feels floaty when moving about.
