Cons: Out of the box, ears are inverted and it's not documented

Pros: Amazing soundComfortableGood quality for the price, when in special
Comment:
I bought these because I was tired of all "cheap" headsets that broke after a few weeks/months of use.At first glance, I was amazed by the sound quality and the "engage" effect. You can adjust/rotate the right ear, but in my case, it broke after a few weeks. I was still able to use the headsets, so I didn't really mind at this moment. After maybe 2 years, sound would randomly stop playing in the right ear (wire issue probably). I have to move it a bit and it will start to play again. Warranty just went out at this time, so it was too late to return the headsets. Then, last week, while I was playing a game (Counter Strike), the sound quality dropped. It felt like I was using a cheap headsets from a dollar store, without any base at all. With the "engage" mode, it worst; I can't hear any voice (in game or on Youtube).I expected that they would last longer (even if I paid $150), now I'm wondering if I should buy the same model (special price of $99 at the moment) or another model/make. Would rate 2 starts, but as I can't find my orderid, I wasn't able to submit the review.

Cons: Tight, lot of plastic

Pros: Looks good, Mic on/off, on mic boom.
Comment:
I price matched them down below 200. I thought that was a fair price. They can be tight on some peoples heads, and a lot of reviews said the same thing. How ever I think that they sound great and my friends have no issue hearing me on my mic. After I unpacked them I tired them on and they were tight. So I mounted them on my bookshelf powered pc speakers. A little wider then my head, and left them for a day. Then they fit perfectly and were very comfortable.

Cons: -LOUD right out of the box. REALLY LOUD!!-Documentation isn't all that clear about the location of the volume controll.-'Leather' covers are hotter than the previous kits 'suede' ones

Pros: -Very good sound right out of the box.-Nice build quality.-Outstanding as an upgrade. Especially if on sale.
Comment:
I bought these today for $140, I've been needing an upgrade for a while now. Right out of the box these cans are LOUUUUD. REALLY REALLY loud. The lack of inline control, and the lack of information in relation to the volume control location,(right ear cup, inner ring, feel for the small divot in the plastic) was initially VERY frustrating, but that is minor. The headset is noticeably heavier than my previous set. But the quality overpowers any objections. One thing that I'd like to have, is the ability to swap out the 'leather' cups for 'suede' ones. The leather ones run noticeably hotter, but not as yet too uncomfortably so. These are a vast improvement over my previous headset in quality in EVERY aspect. The 3d usb sound card is VERY cool, adding depth and immersion, that I've never had before. Having said all this there is no way that I'd pay regular price for these, so the $140 price point is a great deal. If you haven't upgraded your headphones in say 2 or more years, these may be the buy for you.

Cons: Headset is really tight on the head and will hurt you a little after a couple hours of gaming. But this will no longer be a problem if you use the headset for a few weeks.

Pros: Solid sound quality, amazing microphone quality. Good overall gaming headset
Comment:
I've been using this headset for over 6 months now and I can't say anything negative about it . For those who doesn't own a high quality sound card the 7.1 surround usb adapter will do miracles trust me. The overall built quality is perfectly reflecting sennheiser reputation in the audio domain. For those who matter alot with the microphone quality, don't worry its one of the best noise reduction microphone I've used. Like anyone who used this headset will say I have to admit that the headset is really tight on the head and will probably hurt you after some hours of usage but after about a month of usage the headset soften a little and it won't be a matter anymore. So, to summaries, it definitely compete with any high end gaming headset with his good price/quality ratio and will probably bring you an amazing gaming experience. 5 star is the rating it deserves.

Cons: - Very tight on the head- If you dont wish to plug into the 7.1 device, the cord is very short and rather annoying to plug into your sound card.

Pros: - Great Sound Quality (especially with the 7.1 on)- Durable construction- leather (not cloth) ear cushions
Comment:
Very high quality headset. Sounds very nice with the 7.1 sound on. They are a very tight headset though so bigger heads be warned. My ears do start to hurt a little bit into game play and must be readjusted.

Cons: Price

Pros: Great soundComfortableSwiveling ear pieceVolume control location
Comment:
Honestly this headset is pretty pricey but it's well worth it, the sound quality is amazing. With the 3D sound engaged some sounds I swear are coming from my computer speakers or even somewhere else in the room. Most importantly for a gaming headset they are comfortable, I could probably wear them all day and only get bothered a little bit.The swiveling ear piece is great when you have someone in the room talking to you, instead of removing your headset you just swivel the right ear forward or back and you can talk and listen easily.Unlike cheaper headsets where the volume control is randomly on the cord somewhere and often gets bumped the volume control for these is on the right ear piece, which, once you're used to it is a lot better. All in all if someone was willing to pay the price for this headset I'd recommend to do what I did and pick it up for 50 bucks off ;)

Cons: Very tight on large heads.

Pros: Fantastic sound quality.
Comment:
The sound quality on these is quite good. My only complaint is that they're very tight on my head. It didn't take long for them to start hurting my ears. Unless you have a small head I would highly recommend testing the fitment on a pair before purchasing.I got these for $180 through a special offer with my video card. Fitment issues aside I'm not sure they're worth $250; although I don't have enough experience with high-end headsets to say for sure.I would say that if you have a small head (maybe even a medium sized head) you should buy these with confidence if you can find them at a ~$200 price point.

So I haven't had these long.... but they certainly outperform my old turtle beach 5.1 headphones.Amazing clarity and the positional audio is impressive. They have somewhat less base... but still a nice headset. 4/5
