obvioulsy, dont buy this if you want to game. i bought this to go in my father's somewhat budget-build pc and he wanted some OK graphics and he wanted ot to be quiet so i got this. very good desktop graphics, can handle vista aero flawlessly, and is (of course) quiet due to its passive design. I'm a gamer and would never buy this card, but it fit my dad's needs perfectly. would buy again for someone in his situation.
