Cons: None that I have noticed.

Pros: Soft on the earsMic is retractableWires on Mic and headset are short at the endSounds is crispPerfect for gaming where sound is a necessity
Comment:
Worth more than the price. Put the volume up and don't plan on hearing anyone for the duration of your gaming.

Cons: noise escapes the headset

Pros: sleek, retractable mic, long cable. durable
Comment:
Great headset, nice retractable mic, long adjustable cable, sleek look. only issue is that if you have the headset maxed out it will be heard by other people in the room.

Cons: It's adjustment of gunfire sound, sounds slight "off" in bad company 2.

Pros: Clear crisp gaming sound, hear the enemies in game LONG before they get to me.

I run these headphones paired with a ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 sound card.I'm sure the surround sound works fine, but after years of working around heavy machinery, chain saws, under diesel trucks, etc. So I've learnt after playing with "surround sound" headphones I can't hear a difference. So this works well for me paired with the 5h's, no complains, can't hear enemies walking long before they get to me in Bad Company 2, haven't been snuck up on since.

Cons: -Not the greatest sound-Does not trap the sound ( U can hear the sound almost as well on the outside as wearing the headphones )

Pros: -Comfortable-Cheaper

Well i guess this is just a case of you get what you pay for. I bought this for late-night playing so i wouldnt disturb people in the room as they sleep. And, well im not sure if this will be able to fit the bill. You can hear the sound from the headphones really well from across the room, so at least it will be a problem if they try to get to sleep. lolI dont really like the sound too much either, seems bright and the bass isnt enough to my taste. But its not too bad after playing around with the equalizer settings on my sound card. I have no previous experience with these huge PC headphones, but if i could go back i wouldnt have gotten these and probably not any headset unless i ended up with alot of extra cash to geta good expensive one.But on the other hand, these are very comfortable and it wasnt too expensive. I can see these being very comfortable throughout the whole night of listening... Just you might want to turn down the higher note on this so you dont get a headache.I have not yet used the mic.

Cons: Poor recording qualitysound escape the headphones

Pros: Good sound qualitycomfortable
Comment:
Brought for my wife. She find the microphone to be bad to a point of being useless. cannot be returned unfortunately. The sound coming from the headphone is good, she says it has good bass and it is comfortable for long wear. But the sound also escape this pair of headphone and goes far. If you don't mind to "share" your music/game/voicechat when you wear headphone and don't need the microphone, perhaps this a good choice. else, avoid.

Cons: Not the best headphones for 'audiophiles'

Pros: Very nice micDecent for gamingComfortable
Comment:
Bought these on sale as I needed a gaming headset. 2 things that cannot be denied:1. Comfort is very high. I have a large head and as a comparison, I find my Sennheiser 555s to be quite tight. For long sessions in front of the computer I don't mind wearing these 5H's.2. Excellent microphone. My transmissions are super clear, (or so I've been told by teammates). This is definitely not your best choice if listening to music/movies are a top priority for you. It is designed to enhance sounds important gaming (footsteps, explosions, etc). For sound quality I switch to my headcrushing 555's :P. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-04-10 01:22 PM
