I received the mice today and it works wonderfully well with any MMO, most especially FPS games

I haven't had too many mice in my life:- 1st generation MS optical mouse- Logitech Mx300 - POS Logitech 300 mouse that came in bundle- POS Dell mouse at most officesI play almost strictly FPS [CS 1.6, BF2BC2, BF3]. To be perfectly honest, I haven't had much difficulty taking care of business regardless of the hardware I use. I'd say your internet connection and general skill matters a lot more for precision playing.Anyways, the mouse is fantastic to use because this is the first mouse I've had with side buttons - which are great for browsing to and fro pages [comparing items on NCIX quickly ^^], but at the same time I find myself squeezing the mouse and accidentally hitting the buttons during gameplay. I don't map those buttons to anything - so it doesn't matter, but it responds psychologically as if I pushed the wrong button. Something to think about...I was worried that the matte black would develop finger shine spots - areas repeatedly pressed - and it has developed over a month of hard gaming. It's not terribly noticeable - but the mouse shows its use. If you're nitpicky about that sort of thing - steer clear and get a hard plastic mouse. This mouse shows more wear than my old Logitech Mx300 which is WAAY older with tons of gameplay on it. Does plastic wear affect the mechanics - I dunno - do paint chips slow down a car or make it look ugly? That's up to you to decide.I would purchase another steelseries product in a heartbeat. I'm typing this review on the 6G, which I plan on getting another for work. Take the time to go to their website and decide which mouse is best for you.Cheers...

I just wanted to let people know that this mouse is rather uncomfortable. If you look at the side buttons you will see a huge gap underneath them. This is exactly where you thumb wants to rest. Instead of a smooth surface it gets a sharp 90 degree edge to rest on.....smart design here.

Overall this is a solid mouse for the price, I have heard bad things about the sensor in this mouse but with the latest firmware I have had 0 problems with the KANA.
