Hi i have bought this card and i have an hp with windows 7 on it, so don't be fooled by some stupid reviews that some people made about it not working for Windows 7 because it works for all windows. Its a real good card top of the line for those that are willing to read the instructions when they play with it. i give it a Billion Stars.

It's expensive and little feature restrictive but performance wise the product delivers. Before I purchased this card I was using my onboard sound chip. I had a great graphic card but performance was not so good. Since installing this card (which can be tricky in Vista) my graphic performance has greatly improved and the sound quality is fantastic. It also fixed my sound issues with Itunes crackling noises so I'm very happy. Highly recommended

I just got this card today. Hooked it all up. Everything went together totally smooth. The sound is incredible. I would totally recommend buying this card over anything else.

I have installed this with Windows 7 and it works great, especially like the Dolby Digital live for hook-up to my Onkyo reciever. A must have for gaming.

I put this in a new build. Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I had no problems finding drivers at Creative's site. I am only running 2.1 sound right now as I am still waiting for a transfer cord so I can fully move into it. When I do I will report back any problems with my 5.1 speakers. So far not a Hiccup.

I have used Creative products for many years and have had very good results. I have not purchased Windows 7 for any of my computers yet so I do not know how well it works on them. But for Windows XP and Vista it works great! Any product that works well with Windows Vista, is a GREAT product, because so very few products or programs work well with Windows Vista!!! The sound is crisp and clear no static or poping on any of the speakers. As normal make sure to download the newest drivers for your sound card, that can make the difference between a good product or a poorly performing product. Remember that it may be months to a year from when the driver disk is burned and the time you purchase the product.

I bought this to go along with my Core 2 Quad system. Works just like it's advertised. I was kinda disappointed when I bought this and looked at newegg.com and saw that they were selling the exact same thing with the optional 5.25 front adapter for $120. Overall pretty good though

I bought this sound card to go with my Logitech z5500 speakers, and I must say that I am very satisfied. I have noticed a very noticable amount of detail added to the sounds and a new level of bass raidiating from all the speakers to help boost the subwoofers effect. This is the only sound card that I would get.

I wanted the best upgrade for my PC, tried ASUS would mixed up speaker setting with every rebood (front could be sub, left could be front, etc), creative is simple and best on market with my opinion.

Upgraded to this card from onboard sound. Quite the improvement, it must be said. Lots of features, not all practical for the average user. I'm still holding my breath because I was a victim of the SCP (snap, crackle, pop) issue with my old X-fi Elite. This card seems solid...so far.

My EVGA 790i ultra onboard sound was good, till I bought this card. So clear, more realistic, and the bass is incredible. Honestly, as a movie, and music fanatic, I didn't think this card would impress, till I heard it in DTS and THX(PowerDVD software required)...wow! No regrets, buy it, 2.17.0006 driver install on my Vista Ultimate X64 SPII was flawless:)

Bought into the new Creative Labs Xfi as I didnt see a need personally for the extra 5.25 bay controls, no matter, same hardware in the Xfi. Upgraded from a pci xfi falality with xram. Noticeable difference in clarity of sounds all across the board. Good value too, if your older pci Xfi or creative labs works still, i would honestly say unless you NEED to replace dont bother

I recently installed this in a new machine and while the realtek audio was ok.. this is far superior.. Note that the installation instructions do not cover the connection of the card to the front panel audio connectors.. only the attachment to the x-fi i/o console.. After a non-response from customer support at Creative, It took about two hours of web searching to find the answer.. The 10pin HD audio connector from the case is attached to part of the 20-way header on the rear of the card..not the 10-way socket (that it wont fit anyway)..if you get a microscope you can read the silk screen on the board.

Only difference between this card and regular x-fi titanium card is the xram. I actually returned this card and got an Azuen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 and its much better all around than this card.

This sound card is just amazing. My papa has the Creative Audigy 2 ZS Pro. His card sounds good, too. But it does not top the X-Fi. Me and him are computer lovers and love to get the best stuff. Well I got this card and it is way better than his. My only issue is that the crystalizer in entertainment mode distorts my bass from my subwoofer and the treble from my tweeters. On game mode it is just perfect and it makes a big difference. This card is good for everything audio. The headphone mode is unimaginable. You get 11.0 sound from it! It is more accurate than anyone on the planet would expect. I will tell you this, though, you need quality speakers for this sound card. I had a set of 5.1 Altec Lansing speakers and they weren't all that great before and with this sound card they sounded terrible. This card has too much power for them. I than immediately bought Creative Inspire t6100 5.1 speakers. They sound absolutely shocking. Buy this card today. You can't possibly regret it.

Great card worth every penny I spent on it. Finally have 5.1 via Toslink (optical) cable. The card would have all fives but the drivers have been problematic for me. I updated my drivers via the update software built in and found that DDL stopped working. Reinstalling the originals because they worked and curious about the beta's but scared they won't work for me.

this is an outstanding card. upgraded from mobo (xfx 750 realtek HD) sounnd, and it was INSANE. and contrary to some reviews, it worked fine on my vista 64-bit from the start. aside from a high price tag, and an hour of updates, nothing was bad.

Great sound quality on this card in everything! But the drivers and software have a long ways to go to be compatable with Vista 64.On first install, I got the dreaded BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)midway through. So I tried to install from safe mode and had success, but after rebooting got another BSOD as soon as windows tried to load the drivers. Went back into safe mode and allowed Soundblaster to auto update the drivers to the latest version , but again the dreaded BSOD after rebooting. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several more times with different configurations all ending in BSOD's. I have searched the internet in vein for for a solution to this problem but had no luck. And I am not the only person to have this problem, as my searches yeilded tons of others with the same complaints. Just using basic (faeturless) Windows drivers for now. I pray Creative will get the driver issues fixed soon so I can use all the features of this great card.
