Essentially they took Diablo, slapped a shooter on top and injected it with a ton of fun.The game starts off with you on a bus, you choose one of 4 characters and get off the bus, then you are immersed with the story line and meet a few memorable NPCs.The combat system is pretty simple, like most first person shooters you just point and click. Headshots (or a shot on vulnerable areas of creatures) count as critical hits. Once you deal enough damage the target dies.The character development system is simple, which actually suits the game rather well, you have an action skill (which is your only non-passive skill) and a series of passive skills you can put into as you level up.Each character is more proficient with certain types of weapons and gains bonuses to them. As well, the more you use a certain type of weapon, the better with it you get, so it is best to stick to a few different types of weapons than try and be good with them all (kind of like in Dungeon Siege).A lot of the main NPCs have a short intro video and have very unique and memorable personalities, which isn't a first, but is rather refreshing in this type of game.All the guns have a base model then a lot of different attributes that the gun may have, kind of like diablo, but every weapon has magical properties. This makes the guns very unique but also give a chance of getting a very over powering gun at any time in the game.There is a wide variety of lootable containers, rather than just the standard chests and moveable rocks, including silly things like toilets.Overall this is a great game with very little flaws. The graphics are kind of cartoony but are really good, I would definitely recommend this game to any of my friends, but they all already have it.

In this game, you can begin with 1 of 4 different characters which then are customizable afterwards. This game has a multiplayer co-op mode which makes it a pretty fun game for 2 or more people. Playing by youself however, is not so great. The graphics are unique in its cartoonish style, a style that I cannot really appreciate although others might. The gameplay is pretty standard shooter gameplay.
